Despite the declaration of an impending cease-fire, Hizbullah stepped up its rocket attacks on Sunday, firing at least 250 Katyushas and long-range rockets at northern towns and villages - the most fired in any one day since the fighting began over a month ago.
Several rocket barrages hit Haifa and its suburbs Sunday evening, damaging a number of buildings and cars. Some 30 people were lightly wounded. An 83-year-old man, Madi Hayat, of Ya'ara, was killed and another person was moderately wounded after a rocket scored a direct hit on a house in the Shlomi area.
Kiryat Shmona suffered multiple strikes on Sunday, some in residential neighborhoods and other in the industrial district. One rocket scored a direct hit on a house, lightly wounding one person.
Warning sirens continued to sound throughout the North on Sunday, as residents rushed to take shelter. Some 60 rockets landed in Israel on Saturday, a marked contrast to 120 on Friday and the daily average of 150 rockets during the last week.

Hezbollah is probably trying to win more PR points in the Muslim world by firing as many rockets as they can fire on the day before the cease-fire. That way they can claim "victory" and we can wait a few more months or maybe a year until some incident like the one which started this conflict erupts again, and then we'll be having the same debate. Sorry, but as much as I want a cease-fire, I'm fairly skeptical that this will do anything to solve the problem.

What has Hezbollah gained for themselves or the people of Lebanon?
They have stood up to the mighty Israelis. Most of Lebanon (including Christians) now support Hezbollah even more. Finally, Hezbollah has gained legitimacy around the Muslim world.

If the U.N. peace plan actually works the way it was designed, Israel might gain what they wanted in the first place, which was Hezbollah out of southern Lebanon. If the peace deal doesn't work, we will be seeing another war fairly soon if history is any indication.

If you think this resolution would work, you a delusional. Hezbollah will cripple the Lebanese forces and well as the UN forces.

I agree, apparently it doesn’t take much to do that either, look at who you are debating with, “Quran Study”.
Is that user name an oxymoron or what, considering the content of his posts?
The point being, short of Israel slitting its own throat live on Arab television, the “Quran Studies” of this world will not be happy. They will remain supporters of murder and kidnapping and always justify it by saying “What Israel does is worse”.
I have found that debating with them is useless, instead try and engage smarter folks like Woodrow.

He say that Hezbollah is still bombing Israel but what he does not mention is thatt he Jews are still bombing and casuing more damage to the Lebanese..
This truce dont work as lo9ng as a single Isrealis sodleir is in Lebanon,Inshallah,,,all the isrealis soldiers will be murdered one by one as long as they remian in Lebanon.
As Hezbollah has said,return all Hostages of lebanese descent and the 2 soldeirs will be reutrned.
Leave L:ebanon and the farms to the Lebabese..if not the war continue.
In both cases....Hezbollah are defending thier right as a sovering nation..

I would say that has more to do with the weapons used by the different sides rather than any Righteousness of either side.
