Jazakallah in advance to everybody who translates.....
I just wanted to know, does this:
و الله يعلم ما تسمعون

Re: Arabic-English translation requests
^ I see. Ok, If you want you can write Bangladeshi (بنغلاديشي ) to distinguish the people living in Bangladesh, from the bengali ethnicity.
But from what I know in arabic they rather use (بنغالي ) for both, (بنغلاديشي ) is not used, although it could be correct.

It is jannatal, in the sentence given, as mentioned. Under a normal state, it would be jannatul firdous. Why is it different here?
أَسْأَلُكَ means "I ask you". I is the doer of the verb (the subject), ask is the verb, and you is the object (ie the one being asked). The thing which is being asked for (jannatul firdous), is the second object. The verb "ask" can have two objects, one is the person being asked of, and the second is the thing being asked for. In Arabic, when you have a verbal sentence, then the object, ends in a fat'hah or zabar (there are certain exceptions to this). So therefore it becomes jannatal firdous.

This is a clear message for mankind in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is only One God, and that those of understanding may take heed (14:52)

Re: Arabic-English translation requests
Assalamu Alaykum,
I've got quite a few ancient Islamic antiques but don't have any idea what they mean or say. Any help would be appreciated.
Pics of the 2 seals , all I know is that they're over 400 years old.
Thank you,
Pent

Translation Offered
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته
Alhamdulillaah, with Allaah Ta`aalaa's Fadhl and Rahmah, I am fluent in both Arabic and English (also, almost fluent in Urdu and Afrikaans.)
الحمد لله رب العالمين
Hence, if any member requires any Arabic Islaamic article or letter, or even word or paragraph, to be translated into English, they can ask it here or contact me, and I will translate it when I get the chance, In Shaa Allaah.
بارك الله فيكم
والسلام
