Due to some of the discussions occuring on the forum at the moment, I felt this lecture needed to be shared. It was at Jimas conference a few yeaars back and SubhanAllah we all loved it. Here is the download;
Every time I try to listen to it and go online, my computer starts lagging and eventually freezes up! I'm about halfway through though, it's pretty good so far mashallah.
Just listened to it, and have to say, it's one of the best lectures I've heard on marriage. Interesting hadeeth he quotes about bachelors' too
I know! SubhanAllah it was at the Jimas conference and everyone was buzzing with it when we came out lol. It acts as a wake-up call as well alhamdulilah
Sis crayon why don't you try going onto to the Jimas website (jimas.org) and search for it on there? It's in the section saying audio mp3 lectures

Great lecture, jazaki Allah khair for sharing!
At first glance, I thought the thread title was Martial Arts :x
Anyhow, mashaAllaah, brilliant lecture! First time I've actually properly listened to a talk by the Shaykh. He brought up some really good points...
And his jokes were funny too..."get up and cut me a melon", "make me a cake" ... !!
***** قال ابن أبي مليكة : أدركت ثلاثين من أصحاب النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - كلهم يخاف النفاق على نفسه
Ibn Abī Mulaykah said: "I encountered thirty Companions of the Prophet, every one of them fearing hypocrisy for himself." [Muslim]
Wow, the guy is amazing!!! He has this funny kinda voice and uses jokes, different pitches and pace and a lot imagery in the Ahadith!!! SubhaaanAllah!!! JazakiAllah to Uhkti AhlaamBella and also bro Maalik for the link.
I didnt understand the 1st part of the lecture where he was refering to "Khalifa" and so forth, and that it implies for the man or the lady etc etc. I didnt understand what he was on about. Can someone kindly explain?
