I read some hadees are d'aef. In our language it means weak. So what does it mean when a hadees is weak.
I read a hadees by ibn e maja and he is considered one of the most prominent scholars, but the hadees he quoted is considered d'aif.
    Can anyone explain?

    Asalaamualaykum:

This answer is a generalized answer (I am taking post number 3 which was a question from you also)

You must remember the grading of a hadith in itself is an opinion. There are many instances whereby Scholar A will regard a hadith Sahih, but Scholar B can regard the very same is Daeef or vice versa.

There are plenty of examples in our history of Islam whereby scholars have a different view on the grading/strength of a hadith.
