Arabic-English translation requests

Doesn't unity mean oneness?
Unit = one, so Unity = Oneness?
And wahdaniyyah means Oneness, and can refer to the oneness of other things besides Allah.

Unity is like to unite, therfore it must contain more than one person.

And oneness, well, oneness.

Atleast, that's my perspective on it.
 
i was wondering if anyone could help me out translating these two arabic phrases into english. Its supposed to say "never loose hope" but different translators give different answers, and i dont know which is right. so if anyone speaks arabic and could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

means: either ,she didn't lose hope.

or ,you didn't lose hope.

depending on the context......


لاتفقد الأمل أبدا

means ,never lose hope (if someone encourage another)

سكنت في دار السكينة ... و أكلت من سئره الطعام

من خبز و لحم و غيرهما ... مما يأتي إلى هذه الأيام

What's it mean?

from bread, and meat and others, (i'm not so sure bout the second one)

آه! هذا عيش حقيقة ... الذي رأيت في سائر الأحلام

Ah this is the true life that i have seen in all my dreams

Just found out:

The worm recited these lines of poetry when he reached the man's belly:


I live in the house of tranquility and eat from its leftover food


Of bread and meat and others from that which comes to these days

Aah! This is the real life which I see in some dreams.​

the words:

نوائب
now i know that it means along the lines of a person with status, i.e a vise president/reprisentitive...but that dosnt make sense when its in thew following sentence:

واذا حلت بك نوائب الدهر وكربات الزمان

and also the word: رفات
 
i think nawaib is like hardships? :?

and rafat is حُطَام remains or fragments

In the above scenario i would use ثم the best i can think of for اما بعد would translate as "following on" ?

but the common is using ثم in that context
اما بعد
usualy used in the start of a speech,letters ..etc
 
The munshid is Muhammad al-3zaawy. Don't know wht is called a sis on another forum said the poem is called 7aar fikry and its by the doctor and poet abdul-Mo3ty al-daali2aty but its not confirmed.
