Shaikh Abu Bakr Ash Shatri, Abdul Rahman Sudais and Saud Ash Shuraim.

They've all got beautiful voices, Mashaallah. :)

Oh yeah how can i forget Sheikh Al-Shatri!!!

So thats who Su'ud As-Shuraim is :)

Yeah Mishary Rashid Al-Efasy Masha Allah beautiful vocie.

I can't find any links for shaykh Hudiafee. Maybe my spelling is wrong.
i wanted to send u the link but since i am anew member i can not post a lnk so try to search from islamway. com u will find from thier

I had voted some of my favorite but every time i ask my self is it allowed to say this shyke is better than this shyke since every one is reciting the word of Allah ?

Abdur Rahman As-Sudais , album is aimed for a platinum record judging from the poll. Kidding :)

My favourite reciter would be Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy, always great recitation, mashaAllah

Well, my fave recitor is Sudais for he has that extra vibe in his voice that makes me cry. I also like Shuraim's recitations. I can learn Quran easily when listening to him. I'm a bit surprised at the position of Mu'aiqili in this poll. I just love his tenderness as a recitor. There's one that I can't listen to, it's Abd Samad because in each of my dad's and my grand-ma's funeral, his recitations were played non stop. So whenever I hear his voice, it reminds me of my beloved ones' death. Peace to y'all

Mishary Rashid Al afasy <3 Im listening Surah Kahaf in his voice right now

:sl:

Nice to see that Sheikh Shuraim is still tops, maasha'Allah...

Not to detract anything from the others, who are all nice in their own unique ways.

I like to listen to different Surahs by various recitors, as all have beautiful recitations, MashaAllah.

I'm the same sister Haafizah! Some recitors make a more dramatic recitation which I like in certain surahs and some sound very sad and heartbreaking which suit some others!

Hehe, mashaAllah they are so good, I'm practicing on my recitations these days... Sounds like a cat is dying. :omg: InshaAllah it'll become bearable one day, haha!

Sad moment when it's only me and a member named Skywalker who voted for Fahd Al-Kundury. Well, "Skywalker" is the "Chosen One" anyways, so it makes me feel a bit better.

^ I've voted for ALL the recitors I have heard. Not heard him, let me check....*goes to check out recitation*

Checked it out, mashaAllaah beautiful voice, but recitation is too slow for me, I prefer to listen to a recitor with medium speed.

Check out this recitation, sounds SO beautiful, easy on the ears, DEEP with meaning, easy to memorise with the same style, etc.:

For reading, I use Abdul Basit Abdus Samed
For memorizing I use Mishari bin Rashid Al Afasy
For pleasure and softening of the heart and increasing my Imaan I listen to a chosen few chapters and verses of Muhammad Luhaidan.

Also like Muhammad Taha Junaid, Yassir al Failkawi, Yassir Ad Dowsary (surah Az Zalzalah takes first place), and many others. May Allah be well pleased with them.

Salman utaybi and ibrahim jibreen have beautiful recitations too. I really love listening to them among the others.

Qari Abdul Basit: listen to his recitation of Fatiha from the Almusshaf Al Mojawwad collection; surah Waqi'ah is pretty poignant

Fahd al Kundury: came across his recitation of Fatiha on YouTube by chance

Ibrahim Osman: young Somalian reciter from Southern California; came as a visiting haffiz during Ramadan; his recitation of Fatiha blew me away and then some (can find him on YouTube)

:hmm: I don't know the exact reasoning but my bias towards listening to certain huffaz rests upon their unique recitation of surah al Fatiha.
