Wanted to quote someone:

There is an embedding function for youtube in the full reply function.

One of the Quraa/Imaam's here (Ahmad al-Lhdan) was telling me (about people posting his recitation and others' online) that the people should be aware that they make mistakes in their recitation, particularly when they are reciting in Taraweeh and they may make a mistake in some of the rulings.

(He's the reciter on the http://www.athaar.org/articles page at the bottom)

My favorite is:Tawfeeq ibn Saeed as-Sawa'igh
May Allah, azzawajall, rewar all of our recitors of the Qur'aan.

One reciter who I've always liked, and am suprised theres not much audio available of him is Fahd Al Ghurab. The only audio of him ive found are some low quality recordings from his taraweeh prayers several years ago.

He recites so rhythmically and powerfully. Reminds me of a mixture of Muhaisany and Sudais

Here is his Taraweeh recitation of Surah Al Kahf. Its one of the more clear clips, with better audio quality.

Tell me what you think. JazakAllah http://gb.aswatalislam.net/Content/...-Ghurab - Surah018 (www.aswatalislam.net).mp3

^ Jazaakalahu khayran sis for sharing..
Personally, I like Abdur Rahman As-Sudais..

I love also the recitations of sheikh "Mohamed Tablawi" (not mentioned here).
check out this recitation.. (one of my favorite)

I listened to Fahd Al-Ghurab long time ago. mashaAllah his voice is like Sheikh Al Mohaisany but his style is like Sheikh Sudais. I read that he is Imam of Masjid Sheikh Al Islam Ibn Taimiah..I dont know if he is still imam there.

PS: I Haven't posted on this thread for a while now.

I am very suprise that Minshawi has only 38 votes. But in my opinion Qari Abdul basit Abdul samad is the best reciter in this list.

All mashaa Allah, but mine are Ahmed Alajmi and Saad Al Ghamdi, by the way i pray everyday in Taraweeh behind Shaikh Ahmed Bin Al Ajmi and i will share you all the videos that i recorded for him later on Inshallah.

MashAllah Sheikh Ahmad bin ali ajmi is my favourite reciter also. My tajweed teacher once told that sheikh Ahmad bin ali ajmi is good for learning one's tafkheem best. However, I am astonished that there r less votes for Sheikh Abdullah Basfar, only 12. However, he is the one that every tajweed school would recommend in saudia. Our tajweed teacher would strictly tell us to listen to Sheikh Abdullah Basfar only. And his ra is one of the excellent ones.
