Do you speak fusha arabic with your family and friends?

Be aware My friend , There is no one in the " Arabic" countries speak " fusha " at all .between his friends and family .
Fusha Arabic (language of Qur'an ) We write it and Read it in everything , But when we speak : we all speak (public or native ) languages
And Public language separated at the Arab World ( when we speake ) like this :

Egypt >>> unique native Arabic and the Most famous in the Arab world :statisfie
North Africa >> one native language almost
El Sham (( Palestine+Lebanon +Syria + Jordon ) one native language
El Khalij (( Saudi Arabia + Yemen + Iraq +.......etc) one almost
Sudan and Most African Arab ( Same native language ) or at least they understand each other .:D

By the way, do they still call their native language"arabic"?

Yes of course , We all understand each other easy , All these native comes from Arabic

Example

نحن mean : WE , Spelling in Fusha Arabic Nahnou

In Egypt We speak إحنا spelling Ehna
In Shame Countries نحنا Spelling Nehna

Heart spelling in Fusha Kalb Most Arabic counrties Seplling it Galb and In Egypt Alb

All examples like this , But to be honest , That would be difficult on the other people who don't speak Arabic by the natural :exhausted

Right.

I was listening some scholar who was explaining that the capital of Ethopia is Abaaba. The language there now a days is 'emharik'. But formally in old age the language there was different. And 'emharik' is decendent of that language which was 'geez' (جَعْزٌ). That is a sister of Arabic.

I thought maybe they also given their native languages some other names.

Assalaamu `Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuh.

Alhamdulillaah, through the Fadhl of Allaah `Azza wa Jall, I know Al-Lughat-ul-`Arabiyyah. If any of the members here have anything in Arabic which they wish to have translated into English, then they should post it, and I will translate it when I get the time, Inshaa'Allaah. However, you must understand that translation requires both time and effort, hence, do not request for translations to be rendered of nonsensical or unnecessary Arabic texts; post those items which you feel there is a need for, so that some benefit may be accrued.

Baarakallaahu Feekum.

Wa `Alaykumus Salaam wa Rahmatullaahi Ta`aalaa wa Barakaatuh.

I did not see the above post as I have not been here in a while.
