Gems Reminder of Today

:sl:

Salah is the connection to Allah. It’s a connection. When your connection or bond with Allah is strong, Allah’s support for you will be stronger. And if Allah supports you, your matters all will turn into ease. That’s how your Salah is an aid to you and support to you.

REVIVE A SUNNAH ⇨ "OBSERVING THE NAAFIL (SUPEREROGATORY) PRAYERS" ✦

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever prays twelve rak’ahs each day and night, a house will be built for him in Paradise because of them.” [Narrated by Muslim, 728]

•► 12 rak'ahs: 2 rak'ahs before Fajr Prayer, 4 rak'ahs before Zuhr Prayer, 2 rak'ahs after Zuhr Prayer, 2 rak'ahs after Maghrib Prayer, 2 rak'ahs after Isha' Prayer.

•► All these 12 rak'ahs prayer should be done along with the Obligatory Prayer (before and/or after)

It should be noted that the naafil prayers bring immense reward and great virtue.

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:

“The first of his deeds for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer. If it is sound then he will have succeeded but if it is not sound then he will be lost and doomed.

If anything is lacking from his obligatory prayers, the Lord will say:

‘Look and see whether My slave has any voluntary (prayers),’ and the shortfall from his obligatory prayers will be made up from that. Then all his deeds will be dealt with in like manner.”

[Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 413; Abu Dawood, 864; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.]

2 ➲ The Prophet – Peace be upon him – used to say when he wearing his clothes, shirt, dress or turban:

" الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا (الثَّوبَ) وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ".

Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee kasaanee haathaa (aththawba) wa razaqaneehi min ghayri hawlim-minnee wa laa quwwatin. (Praise is to Allah Who has clothed me with this (garment) and provided it for me, though I was powerless myself and incapable) [Aboo Dawood, The Book of Clothing, Hadith 4023]

3 ➲ Start by the right side upon wearing clothes. The Prophet – Peace be upon him – said: (If you wear clothes start with the right side) [Aboo Dawood, The Book of Clothing, Hadith 4141; At-Tirmidhee, The Book of Clothing, Hadith 1765; The wording is according to Aboo Dawood]

4 ➲ Upon taking off the clothes, start with the left side then the right.

REVIVE A SUNNAH ⇨ "Do Not Be Trapped in the "IF" Thoughts"✦

Abu Huraira (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) reported that Allah's Messenger (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) as saying:

A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in everyone, (but) cherish that which gives you benefit (in the Hereafter) and seek help from Allah and do not lose heart, and if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don't say:

IF I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so, but say: Allah did that what He had ordained to do and your" IF" opens the (gate) for the Satan.

[Muslim: Book 33 Hadith 6441]

:sl:

Khālid al-Absi said, "A son of mine died and I felt intense grief over his loss. I said, 'Abū Hurayrah, have you heard anything from the Prophet (ﷺ) to cheer us regarding our deceased?'

He replied,

'I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say, 'Your children are roaming freely in the Garden.'" [Adab al Mufrad]

As always the word of the Prophet ﷺ brings comfort to the distressed hearts :'|

May the families of the deceased be given divinely inspired strength & sabr during this difficult time. May the people who were killed receive the loftiest reward with their Lord and be reunited with their families therein.

Alhamdulillah for the Great Eternal Reunion.

Walaikumasalaam

This is something powerful that i've implemented in my life.

What if's, could have done, should have done is something of the past. I used to dwell in these time wasting thoughts but not anymore Alhamdulilah. I think am just more mindful of my thoughts as thoughts soon turn into action...

"And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? " (Qur'an, 54:17)

Since none of us want to be misguided, it is paramount not only to read or recite Quran, but to understand and implement it in our lives as well.
