Sedihnya Anyusar Nagi dah meninggal.

Bacaan Al-fatihah untuknya

Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat keatasnya.

Amin.

:sl: akhee North, this is a good service barakaAllahu Feek akhee , inshaAllah ill try and learn something from you. Thanks for putting your time to help us .

you think its easy??

as long as you didnt come across with classical Malay literature.... it's easy.:D

During my school years, I would never answer questions on classical texts... because I could only understand 10% of it:embarrass

In the university, all international students must take 2 credit hours of Malay Language and they mastered it easily.... at least for communicating with fellow Malaysians.

I think the tv is the best place to learn the language... as most of the Malay language programmes have English subtitles.

It is because in Malay there is no past tense or past participles of verbs to study as in English, the verbs are not conjugated as in French and you don't have to worry about getting the tones right.

Malay is an agglutinative language, meaning that new words are commonly formed by adding prefixes or suffixes to various roots. This practice can lead to some very long words, but it also makes it easy to spot words that are related. Malay nouns do not have gender, and plurals can often be indicated simply by doubling a word, as in rumah "house" and rumah-rumah "houses". Similarly, Malay verbs do not change form to indicate tense or person - such nuances are expressed using separate words such as adverbs or indicators of time. The word order of Malay sentences is subject-verb-object, just as in English.

:D

that does seem easy,,i hope i dont have problems communicating there,,

Most Malaysians, especially those who live in KL or Penang use "Rojak" Language (mixing both Malay and English language).... so you can use English, with a lil bit of Malay words.....

eg.

" Can I "makan" (eat) here?"

" "Boleh" (can) I look at that?"

" I've eaten, "terima kasih" (thank you)."

P/S: For many Malaysians, Americans speak very quickly than the Brits, so it's hard to pick up what the words the Americans were saying... so it's helpful if you speak the words clearly and slowly...
