Request a Nasheed

Wa'alaikum Salaam

It was definitely called Firabu right? Type some of it up..like how the Nasheed goes...probably will jog a memory.

I've tried, doesn't seem to work, the title was originally in farsi, but given in arabic transliteration as 'firabu,' the nasheed starts with that word...

Jazaak'Allaahu khayr anyway ukhtee and akhee.

I think about the help of Allaah, I could be wrong.
Also, like I said, when I first found it, the title was in Persian. Its hard to find.

The first line means: O my brothers, what can we say?' Has our tears led us to sadness, led us to sadness because of the departing of a companion, because of the love and brotherhood?'

I'm not sure who sings it...and I'm not sure if this is the title of the poem. I used to have it on tape years ago.

MashaAllaah, that's a very good Nasheed...one of my favourites for sure! Sounds really sad aswell. It's by Abu Usayd al-Madani - Brother of Abu Zubayr al-Madani who died Shaheed I think 1992 in Bosnia. May Allaah (SWT) have mercy on him.

Not he best of quality though...but it's still good.

EDIT: Also, that's the Nasheed I got the quote in my signature from lol. It's towards the end where Shaykh Abdullaah Azzam speaks (Rahimahullaah)
