Yep, a very good recommendation. I had read the first half of the book but then left it untouched for a good month or so. But them I read the 'Our Path' and 'Our Provisions' chapters and they were excellent!

A really good book. JazaakAllaah Khayr!

thank goodness I came across this thread or I would have created a completely new thread to recommend my book and then the mods would have gotten annoyed and fustrated and I would have felt bad *grins*

So Anyway...this book is one I bought a few days ago...I saw the title and thought...'yay! I gotsa have this one!', its so kool masha'Allah and it really strengthened my Imaan and trust in Allah.

So...to the point...its called, 'I want to repent, but...' by Muhammad Salih Al Munajjid and its fab! *thumbs up*...google the title and you'll see the front cover, hmm....actually i'll save the hassle and do if for you *grin* aint I nice?

hmmm...net connection is going bonk so do it yourself Insha'Allah *smile* if anybody cannot find the book in bookshops I will go as far as to buy it for you myself....seriously I liked it that much! sisters only though *grin*, Anyway this is a long enough post.

Salaam!

An excellent book indeed! I was very pleased when they translated it and published it 2006. Inshaa'Allah Dar-us-Salam will continue to come out with high quality publications.

If I remember correctly, these two posts were referring to the book entitled: 'Book of the End: Trials and Tribulations' by al-Hafidh Ibn Katheer.

There a couple hundred pages of it that can be read online:
