hehe. of course u still have internet explorer.

btw, mozilla firefox is amazing, just take a look at all the cool extensions and addons u can get - all free!

and its faster than internet explorer (trust me).

and u can get the nicest themes for it aswell.

and it supports tabbed browsing.

and its just the best!:)

yeah, i'm like a little kid! i even found a couple of nusrat videos that i didn't have yet! oooooh....this is fun! :D
now i'm just as good as the other kids!

between graduating to DSL and all your help, i have become a brave and reckless woman. i downloaded firefox and it imported my favourites and now i have 2 browsers! :D

just wondering if anyone knows if there is any way that one can download vidioes off youtube, and convert them somehow into media plaer, or similar programmes, and then burn them onto cd.

also, how do i post up vidoes on the forum from you tube or similar sites, without just posting up the link, as in this thread http://www.islamicboard.com/islamic-multimedia/48218-state-ummah.html, for example.

SaveTube for YouTube

Many might have known this... but let it be useful for others...

To Download content from You Tube...

1. Copy the required You Tube link ...

2. Paste it in "Video Save" option present in http://www.savetube.com/

Thus u can download videos from You Tube...:)

Yup , it failing .. even for the example given in SaveTube..

But i have downloaded from YouTube many times in the past...using savetube... dono what happened now...:(

AsalamuAlaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Use the media tags, they might not work with videos from all sites, but they work with youtube videos and google video's

you copy the url and paste it into the [media] tags

I don't think this works with uk.youtube.com videos...but works only with youtube.com videos. The media tags are done like this:

HTML: 
[MEDIA]@@@@@[/MEDIA]

^ The part where I filled it up with 5 @'s is where you actually erase and paste in your youtube.com video link. So..this is how one would look for example:

HTML: 
[MEDIA]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IitqCs2VA74[/MEDIA]

And when that's pasted in a post..this is what'll appear:

[MEDIA]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IitqCs2VA74[/MEDIA]​
