    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

    22nd Rabi al-Awwal 1435 (24th January 2014)

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri (Radi-Allahu 'anhum):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "When the people of
Paradise will enter Paradise and the people of Hell will go to Hell, Allah
will order those who have had faith equal to the weight of a grain of
mustard seed to be taken out from Hell. So they will be taken out but (by
then) they will be blackened (charred). Then they will be put in the river
of Haya' (rain) or Hayat (life) (the Narrator is in doubt as to which is
the right term), and they will revive like a grain that grows near the bank
of a flood channel. Don't you see that it comes out yellow and twisted"

At Ar-Rabadha I met Abu Dhar who was wearing a cloak, and his slave, too,
was wearing a similar one. I asked about the reason for it. He replied, "I

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah[SAWW](PBUH) said, "Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor. But when He seizes him, He does not let him escape.” Then he (PBUH)) recited, "Such is the Seizure of your Rubb when He seizes the (population of) towns while they are doing wrong. Verily, His Seizure is painful (and) severe". (11:102).

Narrated Al-Ahnaf bin Qais (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

While I was going to help this man ('Ali Ibn Abi Talib), Abu Bakra met me

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Hazrat Suleiman bin Surad (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) when two men began to quarrel and curse each other and the face of one of them turned red and the veins of his neck were swollen (from rage). Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "I know of a word, if he were to utter that, his rage would vanish and that is: A’udhu billahi minash-Shaitan nir-rajim (I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed).” So they (Companions) said to him: "The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) tells you to utter: ‘I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed".

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

    5th Rabi al-Thani 1435 (5th February 2014)

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "(A believer) who
accompanies the funeral procession of a Muslim out of sincere faith and
hoping to attain Allah's reward and remains with it till the funeral prayer
is offered and the burial ceremonies are over, he will return with a reward
of two Qirats. Each Qirat is like the size of the (Mount) Uhud. He who
offers the funeral prayer only and returns before the burial, will return
with the reward of one Qirat only."
