    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

    24th Shawwal 1435 (20th August 2014)

Narrated Hakim bin Hizam (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The upper hand is better
than the lower hand (i.e. he who gives in charity is better than him who
takes it). One should start giving first to his dependents. And the best
object of charity is that which is given by a wealthy person (from the
money which is left after his expenses). And whoever abstains from asking
others for some financial help, Allah will give him and save him from

Reported by Abdullah bin Mas’ud (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said “When you are three people sitting together, then no two of you should hold private talk excluding the third until you are with some other people, for that would grieve him.”

    The people asked,

"O Allah's Prophet! If someone has nothing to give, what will he do?" He

charity (from what he earns)." The people further asked, "If he cannot find

    SAHIH BUKHARI HADITH – CHAPTER 2 BELIEF – HADITH # 20

    By ulema, August 27, 2014
    English:
Narrated By ‘Aisha : Whenever Allah’s Apostle ordered the Muslims to do something, he used to order them deeds which were easy for them to do, (according to their strength endurance). They said, “O Allah’s Apostle! We are not like you. Allah has forgiven your past and future sins.” So Allah’s Apostle became angry and it was apparent on his face. He said, “I am the most Allah fearing, and know Allah better than all of you do.”

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

    2nd Dhul Qa'dah 1435 (28th August 2014)

    Narrated 'Umar (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) used to give me something
but I would say to him, "would you give it to a poorer and more needy one
than l?" The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said to me, "Take it.
If you are given something from this property, without asking for it or
having greed for it take it; and if not given, do not run for it."

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Abu Qatadah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was asked about the observance of Saum (fasting) on the day of Arafah. He said, “It is an expiation for the sins of the preceding year and the current year.”
