    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

    19th Safar 1436 (11th December 2014)

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If Allah loves a person,
He calls Gabriel ('Alaihis-Salam) saying, 'Allah loves so and-so; O
    Gabriel! Love him.'

Gabriel ('Alaihis-Salam) would love him and make an
announcement amongst the inhabitants of the Heaven. 'Allah loves so-and-so,
therefore you should love him also,' and so all the inhabitants of the

Abu Hurairah RA said: The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “Keep away from the seven fatalities.” It was asked: “What are they, O Messenger of Allah?” He (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) replied, “Associating anything with Allah in worship (i.e. committing an act of Shirk), sorcery, killing of one whom Allah has declared inviolable without a just cause, devouring the property of an orphan, the eating of usury (Riba), fleeing from the battlefield and accusing chaste believing women, who never even think of anything touching their chastity.”

Abu Usaid Malik bin Rabi`ah As-Sa`idi RA reported: We were sitting with Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) when a man of Banu Salamah came to him and asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Is there any obedience to parents left that I can show to them after their death?” He (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) replied, “Yes, to pray for them, to supplicate for their forgiveness, to fulfil their promises after their death, to maintain the ties of kinship which cannot be maintained except through them, and honour their friends.”

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) was the most generous of all

Abu Hurairah RA reported: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said to Bilal (May Allah be pleased with him) “Tell me about the most hopeful act (i.e., one which you deem the most rewarding with Allah) you have done since your acceptance of Islam because I heard the sound of the steps of your shoes in front of me in Jannah.” Bilal said: “I do not consider any act more hopeful than that whenever I make Wudu’ (or took a bath) in an hour of night or day, I would immediately perform Salat (prayer) for as long as was destined for me to perform.”

prayers. Then those who have stayed with you over-night, ascend unto Allah
Who asks them, and He knows the answer better than they, "How have you left
    My slaves?"

They reply, "We have left them praying as we found them
praying." If anyone of you says "Amin" (during the Prayer at the end of the

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Abu Hurairah RA reported: The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, “No food is better to man than that which he earns through his manual work. Dawud (alayhi sallam), the Prophet of Allah, ate only out of his earnings from his manual work.”

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

    4th Rabi al-Awwal 1436 (26th December 2014)

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Your (ordinary) fire
is one of 70 parts of the (Hell) Fire." Someone asked, "O Allah's Apostle,
this (ordinary) fire would have been sufficient (to torture the
unbelievers)," Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The
(Hell) Fire has 69 parts more than the ordinary (worldly) fire, each part
is as hot as this (worldly) fire."
