A combination of my chosen Muslim name and the 1st 2 letters of my family name. How many Muslims do you know with a Scottish last name that begins with "Mc"?
Interesting thread.. I am afraid I have no good reason for choosing my SN.. perhaps I should change it to Pure Ambrosia? lol
Ambrosia has many meanings so each person may decipher what s/he may but only one of the 4 below appeals to me!...

Good question! I actually read this forum before deciding to join, and I went through a list of names. Ameena was the one that caught my eye, and it's my friend's and sisters name. I added Sister because well, we're all brothers and sisters in Islam.

i chose jannat , cos i hope to reach jannah one day inshallah tala. i hope we can all be there inshallah tala . jannat is the urdu word for jannah (for those who didnt know).
