Jazakalla khair for the track, dont like the bengali part of the song , but the english part is good. its start from 2 min 20 sec.. he does kinda sound like sami..

yeah agree wid mazed here...certainly sounds more than duff..another sami yusuf.........jus the duff and his voice is allowed in islam...

and wots the diff between percuassion and instruments?..........

but other then that..mashalah its great albulm....esp the lyrics are excellent...lot of meaning....love it.......

a percussion instrument is any instrument which you 'strike / hit' to play it.

so percussion is instrument, and all drums and 'duff' are also instruments.

so its seimply something u play or hit to make sounds...it includes drums and duff......and other instruments.....i see also other instruments....is this music at the end? i dnt see much diff.....

Akhi what I mean was sorry, that he doesn't use stuff like piano and guitars and all that stuff. I'm not saying only duff, but tamborine and some computer effects as well. Under the opinion of scholars who think only musical instruments are haraam (guitar violin piano etc) then this nasheed is permissable. Obviously some scholars have even strionger opnions and they would find even thios nasheed haraam, so thats why i said "If you think it's permissable" Ie whatever ruling you follow
