I apologise for calling you a sis. .sorry

No need for apology :)

Here is the next question:
An island is inhabited by two tribes. Members of one tribe always tell the truth, members of the other always lie.

A missionary met two of these natives, one tall, the other short. "Are you a truth teller?" he asked the taller one. "Oopf," the tall native answered. The missionary recognized this as a native word meaning either yes or no, but he couldn't recall which.

The short native spoke English, so the missionary asked him what his companion had said. "He say 'yes,'" replied the short native, "but him big liar!" What tribe did each native belong to?

when you ask anyone (a liar or a truth teller) : are you truth teller ? the answer will be always : YES (the truth teller will tell you "yes", and the liar will lie and tell you "yes" also.

So from the answer (yes) of the first tall man, we don't know if he is liar or not, no new information, because the answer will be "yes" anyway.

but now the second (short) man necessarily heard the "YES" from the first man. So, will he repeat what he heard without lying ?

if the second man were a liar, he would say : I heard "NO". But he said what he truly heard (YES). So the second (short) man is a truth teller. And we have to believe him when he say the "tall man is a big liar".

So, conclusion :
* the first tall man is a liar.
* the second short man is a truth teller.

Hope I'm not wrong. :-\

ok thanks :D

I'll think of one now, but If anyone has a ready question he can post it before me.

A certain crime is punishable if attempted but not punishable if committed. What is it?

( that's very easy ! )

^ nope. The question is about a Crime. If forgiveness is sometimes inappropriate, it's disapproved when done, not when attempted.
look at the Q again (what crime could like that ?)

lying?. . . . . . . . .

nope. Think of something (a crime) that you can be punished when you intend to do, but when you do it, it's impossible to punish you for it.

Next is:

There are no passengers on the bus at the beginning of its journey. Three people get on. Then two more people get on with one getting off. Four more people get on with two getting off. Five more get on with no one getting off at that stop. Six people get on with nine getting off. How many people were on the bus after the nine people got off?
