LOL... how did you resize it? i also use irfan view but it wont let me alter animated images...

It looks hot, but very fake .. it wouldn't put me off tho still love them and will do for life

yea it does look fake but i thought it was kinda funny in a freaky way... i will always love ma kitty kats.. i have loads of kitty pics.. animated.. some awesome REAL pics too...

I used the resizing tool on photobucket. I don't know if that option is available with the basic accounts.

I do not know the reason they have it that only mods can do it here.

However, I can say why we did it that way on another forum I used to be on. It had to do with the difficulty to moderate what the avatars are. With a still image it can be seen immediately what the avatar is. With an animated one it is necessary to watch the entire avatar to be certain somebody is not trying to slip something inappropriate through. This way a mod needs to check each animation before it is posted.

Like I said, that was the reason on another forum, I do not know if it is the same reason for here. But, it is something to keep in mind.
