قَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَاَ تَى اللّٰهُ بُنْيَا نَهُمْ مِّنَ الْقَوَا عِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّقْفُ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَاَ تٰٮهُمُ الْعَذَا بُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ
"Those before them had already plotted, but Allah came at their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 26)
وَا لَّذِيْنَ هَا جَرُوْا فِى اللّٰهِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوْا لَـنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ فِى الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً ۗ وَلَاَ جْرُ الْاٰ خِرَةِ اَكْبَرُ ۘ لَوْ كَا نُوْا يَعْلَمُوْنَ
"And those who emigrated for [the cause of] Allah after they had been wronged - We will surely settle them in this world in a good place; but the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if only they could know."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 41)
وَيَجْعَلُوْنَ لِلّٰهِ مَا يَكْرَهُوْنَ وَتَصِفُ اَلْسِنَـتُهُمُ الْـكَذِبَ اَنَّ لَهُمُ الْحُسْنٰى ۗ لَا جَرَمَ اَنَّ لَهُمُ النَّا رَ وَ اَنَّهُمْ مُّفْرَطُوْنَ
"And they attribute to Allah that which they dislike, and their tongues assert the lie that they will have the best [from Him]. Assuredly, they will have the Fire, and they will be [therein] neglected."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 62)
ضَرَبَ اللّٰهُ مَثَلًا عَبْدًا مَّمْلُوْكًا لَّا يَقْدِرُ عَلٰى شَيْءٍ وَّمَنْ رَّزَقْنٰهُ مِنَّا رِزْقًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ يُنْفِقُ مِنْهُ سِرًّا وَّجَهْرًا ۗ هَلْ يَسْتَوٗنَ ۗ اَ لْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ ۗ بَلْ اَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ
"Allah presents an example: a slave [who is] owned and unable to do a thing and he to whom We have provided from Us good provision, so he spends from it secretly and publicly. Can they be equal? Praise to Allah! But most of them do not know."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 75)
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَأْمُرُ بِا لْعَدْلِ وَا لْاِ حْسَا نِ وَاِ يْتَاۤىِٕ ذِى الْقُرْبٰى وَيَنْهٰى عَنِ الْفَحْشَآءِ وَا لْمُنْكَرِ وَا لْبَغْيِ ۚ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُوْنَ
"Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 90)
وَلَوْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَجَـعَلَكُمْ اُمَّةً وَّا حِدَةً وَّلٰـكِنْ يُّضِلُّ مَنْ يَّشَآءُ وَيَهْدِيْ مَنْ يَّشَآءُ ۗ وَلَـتُسْــئَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ
"And if Allah had willed, He could have made you [of] one religion, but He causes to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 93)
اِنَّ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ كَا نَ اُمَّةً قَا نِتًا لِّـلّٰهِ حَنِيْفًا ۗ وَلَمْ يَكُ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ
"Indeed, Abraham was a [comprehensive] leader, devoutly obedient to Allah, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 120)
اِنَّمَا جُعِلَ السَّبْتُ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ اخْتَلَفُوْا فِيْهِ ۗ وَاِ نَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ فِيْمَا كَا نُوْا فِيْهِ يَخْتَلِفُوْنَ
"The sabbath was only appointed for those who differed over it. And indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 124)
وَقَضٰى رَبُّكَ اَ لَّا تَعْبُدُوْۤا اِلَّاۤ اِيَّاهُ وَبِا لْوَا لِدَيْنِ اِحْسَا نًا ۗ اِمَّا يَـبْلُغَنَّ عِنْدَكَ الْكِبَرَ اَحَدُهُمَاۤ اَوْ كِلٰهُمَا فَلَا تَقُلْ لَّهُمَاۤ اُفٍّ وَّلَا تَنْهَرْهُمَا وَقُلْ لَّهُمَا قَوْلًا كَرِيْمًا
"And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word."
(QS. Al-Israa 17: Verse 23)
وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى الْاَ رْضِ مَرَحًا ۚ اِنَّكَ لَنْ تَخْرِقَ الْاَ رْضَ وَلَنْ تَبْلُغَ الْجِبَا لَ طُوْلًا
"And do not walk upon the earth exultantly. Indeed, you will never tear the earth [apart], and you will never reach the mountains in height."
(QS. Al-Israa 17: Verse 37)
وَاِ نْ مِّنْ قَرْيَةٍ اِلَّا نَحْنُ مُهْلِكُوْهَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ اَوْ مُعَذِّبُوْهَا عَذَا بًا شَدِيْدًا ۗ كَا نَ ذٰلِكَ فِى الْـكِتٰبِ مَسْطُوْرًا
"And there is no city but that We will destroy it before the Day of Resurrection or punish it with a severe punishment. That has ever been in the Register inscribed."
(QS. Al-Israa 17: Verse 58)
وَاِ نْ كَا دُوْا لَيَسْتَفِزُّوْنَكَ مِنَ الْاَ رْضِ لِيُخْرِجُوْكَ مِنْهَا وَاِ ذًا لَّا يَلْبَـثُوْنَ خِلٰفَكَ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًا
"And indeed, they were about to drive you from the land to evict you therefrom. And then [when they do], they will not remain [there] after you, except for a little."
(QS. Al-Israa 17: Verse 76)
وَمِنَ الَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهٖ نَا فِلَةً لَّكَ ۖ عَسٰۤى اَنْ يَّبْعَـثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَا مًا مَّحْمُوْدًا
"And from [part of] the night, pray with it as additional [worship] for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station."
(QS. Al-Israa 17: Verse 79)
اَمْ حَسِبْتَ اَنَّ اَصْحٰبَ الْـكَهْفِ وَا لرَّقِيْمِ ۙ كَا نُوْا مِنْ اٰيٰتِنَا عَجَبًا
"Or have you thought that the companions of the cave and the inscription were, among Our signs, a wonder?"
(QS. Al-Kahf 18: Verse 9)
سَيَـقُوْلُوْنَ ثَلٰثَةٌ رَّا بِعُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ ۚ وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ خَمْسَةٌ سَا دِسُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ رَجْمًا بِۢا لْغَيْبِ ۚ وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ سَبْعَةٌ وَّثَا مِنُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ ۗ قُلْ رَّبِّيْۤ اَعْلَمُ بِعِدَّتِهِمْ مَّا يَعْلَمُهُمْ اِلَّا قَلِيْلٌ ۗ فَلَا تُمَا رِ فِيْهِمْ اِلَّا مِرَآءً ظَاهِرًا ۖ وَّلَا تَسْتَفْتِ فِيْهِمْ مِّنْهُمْ اَحَدًا
"They will say there were three, the fourth of them being their dog; and they will say there were five, the sixth of them being their dog - guessing at the unseen; and they will say there were seven, and the eighth of them was their dog. Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord is most knowing of their number. None knows them except a few. So do not argue about them except with an obvious argument and do not inquire about them among [the speculators] from anyone.""
(QS. Al-Kahf 18: Verse 22)
وَا ضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَّثَلَ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَآءٍ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ فَا خْتَلَطَ بِهٖ نَبَا تُ الْاَ رْضِ فَاَ صْبَحَ هَشِيْمًا تَذْرُوْهُ الرِّيٰحُ ۗ وَكَا نَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّقْتَدِرًا
"And present to them the example of the life of this world, [its being] like rain which We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingles with it and [then] it becomes dry remnants, scattered by the winds. And Allah is ever, over all things, Perfect in Ability."
(QS. Al-Kahf 18: Verse 45)
وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ ذُكِّرَ بِاٰ يٰتِ رَبِّهٖ فَاَ عْرَضَ عَنْهَا وَنَسِيَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدٰهُ ۗ اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ اَكِنَّةً اَنْ يَّفْقَهُوْهُ وَفِيْۤ اٰذَا نِهِمْ وَقْرًا ۗ وَاِ نْ تَدْعُهُمْ اِلَى الْهُدٰى فَلَنْ يَّهْتَدُوْۤا اِذًا اَبَدًا
"And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have put forth? Indeed, We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if you invite them to guidance - they will never be guided, then - ever."
(QS. Al-Kahf 18: Verse 57)
وَرَبُّكَ الْغَفُوْرُ ذُوْ الرَّحْمَةِ ۗ لَوْ يُؤَاخِذُهُمْ بِمَا كَسَبُوْا لَعَجَّلَ لَهُمُ الْعَذَا بَ ۗ بَلْ لَّهُمْ مَّوْعِدٌ لَّنْ يَّجِدُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِهٖ مَوْئِلًا
"And your Lord is the Forgiving, full of mercy. If He were to impose blame upon them for what they earned, He would have hastened for them the punishment. Rather, for them is an appointment from which they will never find an escape."
(QS. Al-Kahf 18: Verse 58)
قَا لُوْا يٰذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ اِنَّ يَأْجُوْجَ وَمَأْجُوْجَ مُفْسِدُوْنَ فِى الْاَ رْضِ فَهَلْ نَجْعَلُ لَكَ خَرْجًا عَلٰۤى اَنْ تَجْعَلَ بَيْنَـنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ سَدًّا
"They said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier?""
(QS. Al-Kahf 18: Verse 94)
اَفَحَسِبَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْۤا اَنْ يَّتَّخِذُوْا عِبَا دِيْ مِنْ دُوْنِيْۤ اَوْلِيَآءَ ۗ اِنَّاۤ اَعْتَدْنَا جَهَـنَّمَ لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ نُزُلًا
"Then do those who disbelieve think that they can take My servants instead of Me as allies? Indeed, We have prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a lodging."
(QS. Al-Kahf 18: Verse 102)
