some questions are easy to guess. If u are unmarried , she will surely ask when u r going to be married :D

questions may be like these : tomar beyar khobor ki ? ( what about ur marriage ?)

kemon chelay tomar posondo ? ( which type of boy u like to marry ? )

tomar kono posondo ashey ? ( do u like anyone? )

Amar hate bhalo chelay ashey ( I know a good young unmaaried boy )

etc etc :sunny:

U may say , I won't get married now till I finish study ( Ami ekhon beaye shadi korbo na ; Ami pora shesh korey beaye korbo)
 
^ thats all shudho basha, sounds so foreign to me

its funny, i've never met a siingle bengali who speaks shuddho basha yet. and ive met tooooons of bengali's

i think sylheti's the most common in the west

Ooh la la! I've passed that age..though I must say, when we see people we haven't seen for ages they ask if I'm married, but not to me directly, they ask my mum.
It's annoying to think that just coz I wear a Jilbab and hijab that I should be married, which again is an unfortunate misconception amongst Bengalis here (some not all) when they assume you're married to be covered up. :(
