It is ok in this country to have kids at the age of 13 but it is illegal to get married at that age.

So basically you are allowed to bring new life into existence without having to deal with the responsibilites.... great logic!!! :?

Not true. Thousands of murders and kidnappings happen every week, yet sometimes the media chooses to focus on just one or two. Then those stories make the headline.

They don't necessarily report a story because it is one. They report many just because they HAVE to. I'll turn on the news today and hear a story about a drunk driver, yet there are thousands of those every month.

I think you are making my point for me. This story was published because it was exceptional. Has anyone here ever heard of a 13 year old father before? I sure have not.

BTW...where, exactly, are there "thousands of murders every week"? I will be sure not to go there. Not sure what you meant about news organizations "Having" to report a story....unless you are talking about China or North Korea, perhaps.

I agree with your point about sexual promiscuity but you might try to be a bit more politic about indicting 7 or 8 hundred million people in one preposterous generalization.
