Friday يوم الجمعة

Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه narrates :

Rasulullaah (صلي الله عليه و سلم) said,

“Jahannam is best suited to the body that is nourished on Haraam food.”(بيهقي ٥٥١٨)

It is not permissible to earn and eat from Haraam wealth. This causes the goodness and blessings of a household to be lost.*

Today being the day of Friday let us recite surah kahf and excessive durood on Nabee صلي الله عليه و سلم

Tuesday يوم الثلاثاء

Rasulullah صلي الله عليه و سلمhas stated:

“There is nothing evil about the month of Safar.” (Bukhari)
*
Believing that the month of Safar is inauspicious and particularly that its first 13 days are ill-fated or that it is harmful to marry, propose or travel, etc. during these days are superstitions which are contrary to the teachings of Islam. Such superstitions have no basis in Islam and stem from the beliefs of idol-worshippers and pagans.

----and do not get frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: If only I had done something else. Rather say: Allah has decreed what is done. Verily, the* phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytaan.”(مسلم ٢٦٦٤)

Friday يوم الجمعة

Hadhrat Abdullah ibn Abbaas (رضي الله عنه ) reports that on one occasion I was seated behind Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه و سلم) when he addressed me saying:

“O young lad, I will teach you few important words (lessons).

---- Safeguard (your relationship with) Allah Ta’ala, Allah Ta’ala will take care of you.

---- Safeguard (your relationship with) Allah Ta’ala, you will find Allah Ta’ala before you (i.e. at all times Allah Ta’ala’s divine assistance will remain with you).

---- When you ask, then ask of Allah Ta’ala.

---- When you seek assistance, then seek assistance from Allah Ta’ala.

---- And remember that if the entire ummah had to get together in order to benefit you with something, they cannot benefit you except to the extent that Allah Ta’ala has decreed,

---- and if they get together to harm you in any way, they cannot harm you except to the extent that Allah Ta’ala has decreed.

---- The pens (which were used to record taqdeer) have been lifted and the scrolls (used to record the taqdeer) have dried up. (i.e. the ink on the scrolls used for recording taqdeer have dried up. This indicates towards the taqdeer of Allah Ta’ala has been decreed.).” *(ترمذي ٢٥١٦)

• Maru narrates:

“I met Abu Dhar radhiyallahu ‘anhu at Rabadhah. He was wearing a cloak and his slave was also wearing a similar one, I asked him the reason for this.”

He replied: “I abused a person by calling his mother with bad names.”

Nabi صلي الله عليه و سلم said to me:

“O Abu Dhar! Did you abuse him by calling his mother with bad names? You still have some characteristics of ignorance of pre-Islamic times. Your slaves are your brothers and Allah has put them under your command. So whosoever has a brother under his command should feed him with what he eats and dress him with what he wears. Do not ask them (slaves) to do things beyond their capacity (power) and if you do so, then help them.” (Bukhari)
