Rasulullaah*صلي الله عليه وسلم said

That everything has a heart and the heart of the Qur'aan is Surah Yaaseen. Whoever recites it will receive the reward of reciting the Qur'aan ten times.”

Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم saying,

*“My heart’s desire is that Surah Yaseen should be present in the heart of every individual of my Ummah.”*(Al-Bazzaar)

Abu Muslim narrates, “I went to see Abu Umaamah*رضي الله عنه *while he was in the Masjid. I asked him if he had really heard Rasulullah*صلى الله عليه وسلم *saying,

‘When a person performs wudhu thoroughly, washing his hands and face and making Masah of his head and ears, and then performs his Fardh Salaat; Allah forgives him all the sins committed that day by his feet in going towards evil, by his hands in doing evil, by his ears in listening to evil, by his eyes in looking at evil and by his heart in thinking of evil.’

He replied, ‘By Allah, I have heard these words from Rasulullah*صلى الله عليه وسلم more times than I can count.’”*(Musnad Ahmad)

Sayyiduna Buraidah Aslami رضي الله عنه reports that

Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

*“Whoever gives respite to one in difficulty, he will have (the reward of) an act of charity for each day.

Whoever gives him respite after payment becomes due, he will have (the reward of) an act of charity equal to (the amount of the loan for) each day.”*(Ibn Majah)

Sayyiduna Muhammad ibn Jahsh*رضي الله عنه *narrates:

‘We were sitting with Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم *when he lifted his gaze towards the sky. He then held his forehead and said:*“Subhaanallah! What strict warnings have been revealed!”

We remained silent and fearful. The next morning I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what is the strict warning that has been revealed?”

Rasulullah*صلى الله عليه وسلم replied,“By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if a man were killed in battle for the sake of Allah, then brought back to life, then killed and brought back to life again, then killed, and he owed a debt, he would not enter Paradise until his debt was paid off.”*(Nasaa’i)

Amr ibn Shuaib (رضي الله عنه), on his father's authority said that his grandfather related that the Prophet (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said:

When you eat, drink, give charity and wear clothes, let no extravagance or pride be mixed up with what you do. (Ibn Maja, Nasai).

Today being the day of Friday let us recite excessive durood and surah Kahf.

"The People of Paradise will not regret except one thing alone: the hour that passed them by and in which they made no remembrance of Allah."(بيهقي)

Abdullah Bin Amr رضي الله عنه reports that

Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم saw some people making Wudhu and their heels were dry.

He صلي الله عليه وسلم said,

*“Woe to the heels of the Hell-fire. Perform ablution properly!”*(Musnad Ahmad)

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates :

... Thereafter, Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) explained the condition of a person who had undertook a long, arduous journey. His hair was dishevelled and his clothing was covered in dust.

He raised his hands to the sky crying in supplication saying, “O my Lord, O my Lord (Help me in my difficulty)."

Whereas his food and drink intake are haraam, his clothing is obtained from haraam sources; his body is nourished with haraam, so how can his duaas ever be answered?” (i.e. Despite being in this pitiable plight and condition, his duaas are not answered).(Muslim)

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrates that

Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said,

"The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer although there is good in each. Desire that which will bring you benefit, and seek help from Allah and do not give way to incapacity.

If something happens to you, do not say, 'If only I had done such-and-such.' Rather say, 'This is the decree of Allah. He does what He wills.' Otherwise you will open yourself up to the action of Shaytan (by wasting time in pondering over what has already happened which you cannot change)."(Sahih Muslim, Hadith #: 2664)

Wednesday يوم الأربعاء

Hadhrat Abu Zar (رضي الله عنه) reports that Nabi (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said:

“Three types of people Allah Ta’ala will not speak to on the day of Qiyaamah, nor will He look at them with the sight of mercy nor purify and cleanse them of their sins, and a severe punishment awaits them.”

Hadrat Abu Zar (رضي الله عنه) exclaimed: “Certainly such people are great losers and are doomed.

O Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه وسلم), inform us who are these people?”

Nabi (صلي الله عليه وسلم) replied:

----“The one(men) who lets his garment flow beneath his ankles,

----the one who (after doing a favour to people), reminds them of his favours,

----and the one who takes false oaths when marketing and advertising his merchandise (i.e. he lies about the quality of the merchandise etc. to people with false oaths).(Muslim )

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) reports that

Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said:

*“When you finish eating, lick your fingers, for you do not know in which particle of food lies Barakah (blessings).

In another Hadith narrated by Ibn Abbaas (رضي الله عنهما), Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said:

“Barakah descends at the middle of the dish, so eat from its sides and do not eat from the middle”**(So that Barakah remains throughout your meal)*(Tirmizi)

secret charity subsides the anger of Allah;

Abu Hurairah*رضي الله عنه *narrates that

Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم *said:*

“Imaan (faith) has more than seventy branches; the most superior one is saying Laa ilaaha illallah (there is none worthy worship except Allah);

and the lowest branch is the removal of an obstacle from the way; and Haya (modesty) is a branch of Imaan.”*(Muslim)

Abdullah Bin Umar رضي الله عنهما narrates :

When someone once asked Rasulullaah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) how often was he expected to overlook his slave’s faults,

Rasulullaah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) did not reply.

When he repeated the question, Rasulullaah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) replied, “Seventy times a day.”(ترمذي)

Hadhrat Abu Sa’eed Khudri (رضي الله عنه) reports that on one occasion Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) came to us while we were discussing Dajjaal. Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said:

“Should I not inform you of what I fear more over you than Dajjaal?”

The Sahaabah (رضي الله عنهم) replied: “Definitely, do inform us, O Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه وسلم).”

Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) replied:

“The hidden shirk wherein a person performs salaah and beautifies his salaah and performs it properly, and he only does so because he sees that someone is watching him (i.e. he only beautifies his salaah to show off to the person how pious he is).”*(Ibn Majah)

Sayyiduna Abu Zarr رضي الله عنه reports that

Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

"Allah has made some of your brothers as servants under your care. So whoever has his brother under his care, then let him feed him from his food, and let him clothe him from his clothes. And do not give him a duty that he cannot bear, and if you give him a duty he cannot bear, then assist him with it." (Tirmidhi)

Hadhrat Abu Dardaa (رضي الله عنه) reports that

Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said:

Whoever goes to sleep at night with the intention of standing up to perform tahajjud salaah, and his eyes overpower him till the time of Fajr, he will receive the reward of tahajjud based on his intention and his sleep will be regarded as a blessing he received from His lord.(نسائي و ابن ماجه)

Hadhrat Abdullah ibn Salaam (رضي الله عنه) reports that he heard Rasulullah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) mention while he was on the mimbar delivering the khutbah on the day of Jum’uah:

“Why don’t you purchase a pair of clothing and keep it exclusive for wearing on the day of Jum’uah, apart from your normal daily clothing.”(إبن ماجه)

Today being the day of Friday let us recite excessive durood and surah Kahf.
