Islam Gyal I don't mean any offense, but the only way I have seen many on this thread believe what they do is to dismiss scripture without any logical reason other than it disagrees with Islam.

I have seen assumptions made about the make up of God when those same people can't offer any insight into the puzzle I presented.

Perhaps the reason non-Muslims have such a hard time accepting it is that your evidence isn't very believable?

A few years ago,after going through afew tribulations in my life,i Considered converting to christianity,..
..the religon made as much sense to me as keeping chickens on a pig farm.

Allhumdulilah,that is good to hear sis :) I have alot of respect for Reverts. (lets not get into the Revert/convert issue,.. :giggling: ) Personally,i only know 3 people that have found islam,..but online i've met Hundreds.

yes but lets just take this on to the christian side ok am going to say this for the christians sake if you open the bible it says Jesus is god and also son of god which is confusing:heated: but bro believe me if you look through a ''bible'' it does say that and i understand it is hard for the ''christians'' to believe that cause it was hard for me to believe that Jesus was the messenger of god and not son of god i do undersatand so we are here to help you and to share our knowledge with you so i appreciate it if you can believe me evidence and not argue please and get the point and if you have any questions please feel free to ask in a politer way and i'll try to help you all ok :)

Islam Gyal, perhaps this will show what I have been trying to understand about your evidences:

There is a thread about a fellow getting caught having relations with a goat and being forced to marry the goat.

Under Old Testament law the fellow, along with the goat, are to be killed.
Under Islam he isn't.

Islam teaches that Islam was brought about to restore the Law.
Having relations with an animal isn't a capitol offense under Islamic Law.

So here we have Old Testament scripture that disagrees with Islamic scripture.

Are we to assume that the Old Testament scripture has been tampered with and corrupted?

What would be a logical reason for such an assumption? What reason or motivation would a person have for going back into the real Old Testament scripture and secretly inserting a rule for dealing with people who have relations with animals?

What do you believe scripturaly is the correct punishment under the Law for those who have relations with animals?

Death? Then you are going against Islam.
Less than death? Then you are dismissing Old Testament scripture.

Give me a logical reason for believing that, that Old Testament, scripture should be dismissed.

RED: I think that's a misnomer!! You are thinking wrong! You can't marry animal, period!

OT tell's the fellow and goat must be killed? Where?

Nimrod, do you alway's believe everything someone posts?

Their is no evidence or reference to say that what the person posted is true, and never less to say, you thinking that if one commit's a sin with a goat, dispicable one has to marry the Goat!!!

This is more dispicable to God!!

And I agree we should have a Good discussion, and not fight's. Each one state what the believe, and say "this and that say's that", if you disagree say "but this and that say's this". Let's not gunning each other down mindlessly, if anyone makes a argument that one must support their claim with evidence.
