كلمتان حبيبتان إلى الرحمن، خفيفتان على اللسان، ثقيلتان في الميزان:

my Favourite Hadeeth ...

here the wrds are DUAL coz theres " alif " and "nun" at the end of the words .. so we know its dual..

kalima - means words
KALIMATAANEE - WORDS ( dual)

HABIB - beloved
HABIBATAANEE - BELOVED (dual)

* NOTE: in arabic the describing word has to be the same as the adjective .. i.e. HABIB (beloved) is decribing word .. and its describing the KALIMAH ,,so if KALIMATAANEE is dual then the DESCRIBING word will be DUAL too *

ILA - towards

RAHMAN - MERCIFUL

KHAFIFA - LIGHT as in Weight
KHAFIFATAANEE - LIGHT ( dual... (why dual?) .. becz its describing the kalimataanee -words)

ALA - ON

LISAAN - TONGUE

Thakila - heavy
THAKILATANEE - ( heavy dual .. again its describing the Kalimatanee so describing wrd gotta have the same pattern too )

FEE - IN

MIZAAN - scale

so any1 clever enough to translate that aRabic phrase?

HUWA = he
HUMAA = they (dual/male)
HUM = they ( more than 2 male)


HIYA = she
HUMAA= they (dual/female)
HUNNA = they (more than 2 /female)

ANTA = you (male)
ANTUMAA = you (dual)
ANTUM = you all (male)


ANTI= you (female)
ANTUMA= you (dual)
ANTUNNA = you all (female)

ANA = I
NAHNU = we

Let's try some speaking, and phrses:

Phrse one: fa ayna tath-haboon; which can also be written as fa ayna taz-haboon.

Translation would be: so where are you (people, because it's plural) going? or: where do you go? or: where will you go, it purely depends on the context, whereas, if you say: ayna anta (anti for female) thaahib (or zaahib, because its with thal (zal), not tha (sa). This would mean: where are you (singular) going?
