eat a protein bar or coffee or both together when you're not hungry and it will keep you full and not hungry and then ear dinner in your usual time a healthy portioned meal. Water also a full glass of it with some peanuts or some nuts will do the same.

Wallahi it comes down to your mental duress. If you can fast you can stop yourself from eating junk.

Replace your junky foods with healthy foods. That's all there is to it.

Your cravings are literally mental.

I always tell someone if they want to cut (lose fat) they can do it if they can fast.

Check out my site inshAllah and post around.

Caffeine boosts metabolism and acts as an appetite suppressant. I've got a very cool article on caffeine on my site you can read inshAllah.

Still in the end it's all in your mind and you have to have the will power.

^^^Eat fresh vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water. Exercise more. See you doctor regarding which types of exercise are suitable for you if you have any health problems. Use oil sparingly. cook without oil. Just use a few tbsp of olive oil. hang out with people who are healthfood conscious. talk about healthy eating. frequent this thread for motivation.

Well today i end up having pizza i ate too much
:/:

My dr knows am trying to lose weight she says i need to as am very Obese
My medication am on put weight on me as well there anti depressants and anti psychotics
So its common that they make you gain weight but i need to take them as am very ill with out them

Aisha I responded to you on my website.

And as far as anti depressants and anti psychotics you've become addicted to them. You are telling yourself you need them, I responded to you in that regards too. These kind of medications cause further chemical imbalance in your body in the long term. These doctors do not care about the well being of people but only what pharmaceuticals make profits for them and vice versa. There is a cure to everything and it doesn't have to be through pills.

With out the medication i become a danger to myself and others i have been with out them before things got so bad that i attacked my husband with a knife when i thought he was the devil luckly my husband managed to get the knife off me ...i had to see the crisis team after that for an assessment so i feel i need to take them
I am stable at the moment thanks to the medication.

another classic thread about arranged marriages.

im kidding, i dont want to be so callous.

...but maybe removing the root of the problem will help you remove the rest of your problems.

one step at a time.

or maybe you need to change doctors.

Can you tell me what the medications are called, I bet you these medications induce this. Most of the people who are suicidal, maniac, psychotic, etc.. and more on these medications while temporarily seeming OKAY while a zombie.

I told you that I was on these medications for a brief time, and how I got off them alhamdulillah was the best decision. These psychiatrists are morons because when a person has a crisis in their life, stress, chemical imbalances, they prescribe these medications and try combinations until they 'get it right', no bloodwork is ever done, just experimentation upon you. Long term they cause more problems and you become addicted.

The underlying problems what led you to that psychotic episode or depression or low self esteem is not really taken into account.

I always call psychiatrists the imams of shaytain imamas of kufr because thats what they are. They listen, they give naseehah without Allah's hidaya, and they try prescribing so many medications until they 'get it right' and they hook you on life.

This aside, I can still try to help you to lose 30kg in one year if you are willing.

You are doing all this to yourself when you put yourself down or always focus on the negative. Losing 1kg a week is perfectly healthy and very viable. You just have to have the desire to change, put it in action, follow through with consistency and with time achieve the results.

If you want instant results you will be dissapointed.

Anyways all I can do for people is give sincere advice, its up to them to follow through. I cannot force people to exercise or eat a certain way, that is up to them. I can just advise them based on my experience and my own struggle. I was morbidly obese and I fought over it. i tried everything right and wrong over the years to get there too. People advised me too what to do who were more experienced.. but i didnt listen sometimes. So i learned from all that.

People want instant results and thats when ppl are dissapointed.

good advice, sometimes you have to work through problems to get the best results.

its often a great method to learn from.

may allah swt give us all the patience and perseverance to make our lives better.

I know that some medication can make you zombie like but i havent had a problem with mine at all
I cant stop them unless i get a dr to tell me to get off them
I appreciate your advice and i do want to lose weight but i really do need this medication
If i went off my medication it would put me and everyone else in danger and i cant take that chance

The easiest way to lose weight IMO is simply to learn the basics of how cals in/out works including carb/protein/fat. Keep a food diary like one in myfitnesspal.com. Use a kitchen scale to weigh ur food (if ur really precise).

If it's too complex, simply reduce fried/oily/fast food as they are often very high in fat(ultimately calories). Eat more whole foods. If you are obese and you try this for one month or even a week you will definitely see results. InshaaAllah.

I understand that, and it's now because you are addicted to them, that's alot of medications.. like i told you these doctors do no bloodwork and just jam pack you with medications until the 'combination works'..

Going off cold turkey would be a disaster i know that, but i tappered off.

It is worth the effort like i said how i got off, thankfully i was only on two and not long as i realized what it was doing for me... it is the wrong way to fix the problem and these psychiatrists only care about profits and as do the pharmaceuticals.

If you gradually tapper off, reduce doses, build a positive attitude and sincere du'a to Allah i gaurantee u inshAllah u will overcome all the negatives, all the low self esteem and through physical and mental activity balance out your chemicals as i did and increase ur self esteem, lose ur weight, become stronger, become mentally and physically stronger. It's worth the fight trust me.

With all due respect you are not a doctor, you don't know anything about my medical problems or have my notes and history
you are someone that i don't know very well telling me i must stop my medication, Who am i most likely to listen to?
my doctor that's who
I am not discussing this any further
Thank you

You don't have to eat less to lose weight. Certainly you don't have to starve yourself! In fact, eating too little will make your metabolism to go down. thus, you'll be burning far less calories than normal, causing you to conserve fat!

A balanced diet is the key. Switch fattening foods with high fiber low calorie ones that fill you up but won't make you fat. Eat only when you're hungry. But don't put off eating when you are genuinely hungry, otherwise you'll become so hungry that youll eat more than you should.

eat at certain times only. Avoid eating between meals. No matter how much you crave a midmorning snack, avoid it. Tell yourself you'll eat at lunch time. If you must eat anything, then a piece of fruit or a small cookie.

Exercise more. even a 1/2 hour walk daily can help you become more fit. Slowly increase the exercise. Join a fitness center if you can.

drink more water.

You have been convinced that this is what you need and your psychiatrist has you convinced as well. So that's your life and your decision. People are not commanding you to do things only advising you, and I already mentioned I'm not your doctor, but you are not the only person in the whole world who was put on these medications or taken off these medications and I gave my own example. You should read up more on the damage that anti depressant medications do long term and yes you are addicted to them and that's the bottom line whether you like to hear the truth or not and I will say it even if it upsets you fisabillah.

Anyways best of luck inshAllah.

Keep your goals in sight.

Try to change your mindset so you don't see food as something that removes your sadness. Exercise and control over eating is even more pleasing than the temporary taste of food and any feelings of goodness it might bring. Success is a very enjoyable experience and feeling success when you watch yourself eat the way you want and look the way you want makes you feel much better about yourself and increases your motivation.

Try to see your reflection in a full-length mirror before you start eating. Experts say it makes you eat less.

I have always maintained my weight. I can wear the clothes I wear when I was a teenager and trousers too! Middle age has not spread my waistline and many people have remarked on this. I just say, I eat a fairly balanced diet but more importantly I don't live to eat (as do a lot of people) but I eat to live. I do enjoy food, but I stop eating after I the hunger pangs are gone. I do not eat until I am full, but more to stop the hunger. I guess, that way, it is preventive, without me ever realising it specifically until quite recently when someone made a comment.
