100 Fabricated Hadith

100fabricated.gif

The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "He who tells a lie on me intentionally, let him take his seat in the Hellfire" (Bukhari Volume 1, No 107).

Whenever a person quotes a fabricated hadith knowingly, he or she is guilty of lying on the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Fabricated ahadith stunt the spiritual growth of the Muslim Ummah. This book is a compilation and refutation of one hundred of the most famous and lethal fabricated ahadith in the Muslim world today.

Diseases of the Hearts & Their Cures

diseasesoftheheart-1.jpg

Know O beloved reader that it is most important to spend one’s time and energy in treating the heart, and hastening to correct and purify if from sickness and all sins. This is due to the heart occupying a great and lofty position in Islaam, for it is the place to which the Lord looks and the storehouse for tawheed, faith and sincerity.
Actions are distinguished, one from the other, with respect to their excellence in the Sight of Allaah in accordance with the condition of the heart, not by their number or form, but rather due to the strength of the caller, his truthfulness, his sincerity and the extent to which he prefer Allaah over himself… Al-Haafidh ibn Hajr al-Asqalaanee, may Allaah have mercy upon him and provide us with his knowledge, said: “The heart has been singled out for this because it is the leader of the body, and through the purification of the leader the subjects become purified, and with his corruption they become corrupted. So if you, Observant of Allaah, wish to cure your hear then it is upon you to be truthful with regards to seeking refuge with Allaah and putting your trust in Him, to pray a great deal of supererogatory prayers, to perform the actions of obedience to Allaah frequently, to pray the night prayer while the people are sleeping, and to treat your heart by making it continuously stick to the remembrances and by befriending only the righteous… and to frequently recite the Qur’aan. And Allaah will indeed allow all of this to be preserved by him.” Taken from the Compiler’s Foreword

The Humility in Prayer

talkislam_2033_464028736-1.gif

This is a treatise we have written concerning humility (Khushu') and the hearts meekness and breaking (inkisar) before the Lord.

The basic meaning of Khushu', is the softness of the heart, its being gentle, still, submissive, broken, and yearning. When the heart is humble, so too is the hearing, seeing, heard, and face; indeed all the limbs and their actions are humbled, even speech. This is why the Prophet (saw) would say in his bowing (ruku), "My hearing, sight, bones, and marrow are humbled to You," another narration has, "and whatever my foot carries."

One of the Salaf saw a man fidgeting in his prayer and remarked, 'If the heart of this person was humble, so too would his limbs be.' The source of the Khushu, that takes place in the heart is the gnosis (Ma'rifah) of Allah's greatness, magnificence, and perfection. The more gnosis a person has of Allah, the more Khushu' he has. The greatest action of worship which manifests the Khushu, of the body to Allah is the prayer (Salaah). Allah has praised those who have Khushu' in the prayer.

al-Hasan, may Allah has mercy on him, said, 'When you stand in prayer, stand in due obedience as Allah has ordered you, beware of negligence and looking (here and there), beware that Allah be looking at you while you are looking at something else, asking Allah for Paradise and taking refuge with Him from the Fire, yet your heart is heedless, not knowing what the tongue is saying.'

Hudhayfah said, 'The first thing you will lose of your religion will be Khushu' and the last thing you will lose of your religion will be the prayer, and it is well possible that there is no good in a person who prays, and soon will come a time when you shall enter a large Masjid and not see a single person with Khushu'.

This small treatise deals with the correct and accurate meaning of Khushu', and with three extremely beneficial appendixes.

Etiquettes of a Muslim on Friday

t_EtiquettesofaMuslimonFriday.jpg

Abu Ibrahim Majid Ali Hasan. Many people are unaware of what the etiquette of a Muslim on Friday should be and most are unaware of its significance. Most do not consider the Friday Prayer as obligatory, hence they miss it intentionally. Many people in Islamic countries are on holiday on this day, so then spend their time sleeping, or in other activities that cause them to neglect the Friday prayer altogether. They do not realise the significance of the Friday Prayer and its sermon, and they come to the mosque according to their own wishes and desire. Most of them are unaware of what is required from a Muslim before or after the Friday Prayer. It is with these concerns in mind that this book has been written.

The Excellence of Knowledge | Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbali

talkislam_2064_4197770942-1.gif

This Small treatise brings to light many amazing and intricate points of benefit with regard to knowledge and discerning between which of its types are beneficial and non-beneficial.The Prophet praised some forms of knowledge while condemning others, at times he would ask Allah to grant him beneficial knowledge while at other times he would seek refuge in Him from non-beneficial knowledge.

It is for this reason that the author took on the task of clarifying the various types, characteristics, signs and consequences of both beneficial knowledge and non-beneficial knowledge in this short treatise, as well as affirming the superiority of the knowledge of the predecessors (Salaf) over the knowledge of those who succeeded them (Khalaf).

A Good book with reminders and admonitions to assist and guide any sincere Muslim in his quest for seeking knowledge.

Characteristics of the Hypocrites | Ibn Qayyim

hypocrites-lg.jpg

By Shaykh al-Islam Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah with an appendix from the work of ash-Shanqiti. In the Qur’an, Allah has revealed the machinations of the hypocrites, He has unveiled their beliefs, their qualities, and made their goals clear so that the believers can be aware of them. He divided mankind into three groups in the beginning of Surah al-Baqarah: the believer, the disbeliever, and the hypocrite. He mentioned four verses concerning the believers, two verses concerning the disbelievers, and thirteen verses concerning the hypocrites due to their plenitude and the great harm and tribulation they bring to Islam and the Muslims. The harm they cause to Islam is truly severe for they claim to be Muslims, they claim to aid and support Islam, whereas in reality they are its enemies seeking to destroy it from within, covertly spreading their corruption and ignorance such that the unwary thinks that what they are upon is knowledge and right action.
