Assalaamu Alaykum,

Here's a recitation from the famous Qari Abdul Basit, Surah Takweer:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hitpQoQy6X8

I especially liked the way he recited the second half of the surah, in particular at 4:30 - it's such a peaceful tune! He does it again at 5:13... (you can tell I've listened to it many times)!

^Subhaan`Allaah, amazing!

Jazakallaahu khaayr for sharing
Quraan recitation is absolutely amazing!

wa`alaaykum salaam

Has anyone noticed Saad Ghamdis different tones. Like he reads surah Ali-Imran in a different and imo better tone than say surah Nisaa. I wish he read everything like he reads Surah Ali-Imran, Anfal, Tawbah, Muhammad and some others. He reads Nisaa and several other surahs in a sad tone.

Here is surah Al- Imran

No compare that with surah Al-Nisaa

I definitely like the Ali-Imran tone better. What do you all think?

Actually I prefer the sura Nisaa tune, but everyone has different likes and dislikes...

Assalaamu alaykum. For some reason I cannot post links to videos. on this forum. But, you can still watch the video i want to share inshallah if you type into YouTube search: 'Surah Maryam by Ahmed Al-Omrany'

This is easily among the best recitations i have ever heard. Subhanallah
