Frustrations in getting married

yea what a Divinely sanctioned bondage of utter savagery and misogyny! one of Allah's unfair rules that He inflicted poor women with. yet despite that unfairness, we women continue to believe in Allah, as a sign us being the "bigger man."

A brother and a sister started to fight again.

I can't do anything to stop them, but I will make du'a, wish, they will meet and be united in a marriage.

There is a different between physical beauty and good appearance. Physical beauty is something that owned since someone born. Good appearance is something that could be created. Those uneducated women are physically beautiful, but they could not maintain their appearance and that made them look bad. I have seen them, they look like maid in the house, not a wife.

Different than women who are not physically beautiful but able to maintain their appearance, they will look good. And appearance is not only how to dress, but includes attitude like how to speak.

I have read few complains about "my wife is not beautiful", but from descriptions that written by those husbands, I made a conclusion, what made them felt uncomfortable was not their wives physical beauty, but their wives lack of ability to maintain appearance.

Frustrations in getting married :S

Ok, I'm 36, unmarried... never been married. But been engaged twice... If anyone has the right to feel frustrated, it's me...

...But, I'm not.

I hate London though. I see so many Muslimahs who wear hijaab, with skin tight clothing - what the heck are they thinking? That's not hijaab... Facepalm yourselves if you fit yourself in this category coz you clearly don't understand what a hijaab really is. It is a purda, a veil... and not just for your face... Gah.

Showing your aurah to ghair mahram is ... GAH.

As for the young Muslim guys, who wear their jeans under their butts, and enter the masjid on fridays as part of the BLUE JEANS JAMAAT, who refuse to lift their jeans above their ankles... you guys are the biggest idiots.

Sorry for my rant, but I had to vent.

A woman who is seeking divorce, with valid reasons, can do so even if her husband refuses to give her talaaq.
This is called Khula.

There is no command from Allah or his Nabi (sallalahu alaihi wasalam) that can ever be considered unfair.

That which is permissible, and that which is prohibited - is all for OUR benefit.

Our imaan rests on believing this implicitly.

Who are we, the creation, questioning the wisdom of the Creator?

Allah does everything for a reason, he doesn't target people solely for the purpose of making life difficult for them.
It's a test from him. Please repent, and ask for his forgiveness.

Beauty is objective, but attraction is subjective.

A beautiful woman can lose her attraction if she cannot maintain her beauty, like not maintain personal hygiene, dirty and disheveled dress, talk rude. If you meet a woman like this, your eyes cannot lie. You must be admit she's beautiful. But are you interested to take her as your wife?. Maybe no.

Different than woman who physically is not beautiful but she has good character, personality, and behavior that can make a man feel comfortable to live with her. If you meet a woman like this, your eyes will says she's not beautiful, but if you feel comfortable with her, your heart will says, she's attractive.


Beauty is in the eye of beholder, love is in the heart of beholder.

I was only being sarcastic with that comment. If anyone, the person to whom the comment was directed should be fearful of Allah's commands.

It could be 20 or 25 or even 30, but every community has it own age limit for marriage for girls. And the parents are not stupid, they just want their daughters get a happiness.

I am sorry if I must reveal a reality that maybe will offend unmarried sisters. Female and male are different. Females like flowers that are on the stalk, males like butterfly with wings. The blooming flower attract butterflies to come, but when the flower has been withered, the butterflies will not interested to come.

Butterflies have wings. As long as they are still able to fly, they can find a flower.
