I dont know. The lecture wasnt for me. Faqt bahen gayi hati....Now if I got that right you'll know what it means :hiding:

I think gayi is urdu btw, maybe the gujjy is 'gayli'? :-[

Youre speaking proper guji :? what i understood from that is she only went with her sister but even then all the words mixed che.
Is that what you were saying?

Yeah I used to know the alphabet...I can still write it too I think.

lol oh...I still have all my notes. I'll post em some day insha'Allah.

Learning to speak any language is my weakest point. I find reading and writing the easiest. I love reading it...its kool :D
 
I didn't know they taught Gujarati at GCSE. I don't even know the letters myself. :exhausted

I dont think they teach it in many places. I think mainly because it was private, now thats its become state funded they have French and German and thats it I think

Listening is easy coz u get told off if you dont pay attention :( also, they do fairly easy tapes

I wish I could speak it better, I understand it though alhamdulillah
