Reminded me of a story of the early days of Islam, when one woman was being harassed in a far away land, the Khalifa mobilized an entire army to come to her defense.

Now that is true Islam!

I wonder what they did with the hijab, probably some secret bangra

btw sis how would u have felt if you wereing a niqab and they took that off, would you have still confronted them?

salaam

Bunch of idiots - you see alot of these punk teenagers around who think they own the bus.

peace

Hey Sista,

be patience...every life has the test.God had set you aInd the girl free....i believe that God had the Hikmah to make anyone learnt their lesson to become more wiser and i believe, next time u should be caution of lot of incident appears. If i was there,i will help out.

Where are the muslims?!!!

In the time of the messenger of Allah when a woman's jilbab was pinned and her awrah exposed in the Jewish market place, there was one sahabah on his own who saw this and with out a second thought, got up and killed the Jew.

They ganged up on him and made him shaheed.

When the messenger of Allah found out, he (pbuh) marched out with an army intending to kill the whole tribe, had it not been for the intercession of the leader of the munfiqeen, Abdullah bin Ubayy.

Thus he expelled the tribe to Khaybar.

anyway if you know anythin about these guys, what college they go etc, get them jumped, tell your brother to sort it out

u sound like someone who likes to point the finger.

I don't point my fingers. They're far too superior to do that. That aside, my intention was to tell you that what you did was not the best course of action. I wonder if you pondered about what you were going to do or if it was an impulse. Hmh.

Thanks but I know that if that was u or me we wudve wanted someone to help us out.

Psychic, are we?

That land was india & khalifa mobilized army under command of 17 year old Muhammad Bin Kasim.

Quran says in 4:75:-
Why should you not fight in the cause of GOD when weak men, women, and children are imploring: "Our Lord, deliver us from this community whose people are oppressive, and be You our Lord and Master."

Even if we r outnumbered, if we take a stand against evil, ALLAH helps us with angels*, like in situations described by unfortunate sister, she took a stand against 5 evils.

*Then GOD sent down contentment upon His messenger and upon the believers. And He sent down invisible soldiers; He thus punished those who disbelieved. This is the requital for the disbelievers.

wow yanoorha, masha'Allah what a brave sister you are.. I'd have done exactly the same thing.. I am really proud of you..
I always carry extra articles of clothing with me.. I am not sure how convenient that is for you .. but just in case someone does something like this you won't be left without cover...
but really for all circumstances.. it is good to have extra socks/ glove/scarf..

you have nothing to feel bad about.. isn't it amazing that the worst thing they could say to you had to do with prayer? and then they walked off like cowards told off by a girl.. ..
well done.. now pls be careful.. you don't know what sort of weapons or upbringing these losers have.. though I know in my heart that Allah swt was with you..

:w:

You are a brave girl, Yanoorah! Well done you! :)

I'm surprised the bus driver didn't intervene and throw those guys out ... imsad

:sl:
:ooh:
That was very brave of you Yanoorah. Not many people in your situation would have done what you did. Most people just ignore it. May Allah reward you for your attempts :).
Its disappointing to hear that no one else did anything to help the girl. Even the driver! Most dont. Do report it. They shouldnt be allowed to get away with that.
And like Sis Gosammer said carry a spare hijab around with you...you never know when youl need it
:p:

ruler...u are being very patronising to someone who has shown a rare act of bravery,(i say rare because not many would place themselves in danger like that, as was proven on the bus).I can understand your concern for her placing herself in danger, but i think what you, yanoorah, did was absolutely right, and you are also right in saying that had that been any one of us sisters in that situation, somebody like yanoorah, would have seemed like a miracle!

love u sis. :statisfie

Defending the weak and bullied is such a highly admirable thing to do, you have my utmost respect sister and the fact you were defending a girl who is jewish is awsome. People will have seen it and been moved by this. May Allah give you whatever will make you happy in this life and riches in the next. You are an example to all those brothers and sisters who are intimidated by brain dead groups of men. Fear none but Allah sister, well done. :D

Perhaps. Like I said, I understand her reaction. All I'm trying to say is this: what she did was not the best course of action. I don't understand what's so patronising about that.

patronising/sacrcastic,whatever lady lol.

would you not be grateful for such an action in that situation? (trying to avoid being psychic here and actually asking u! :D)

There was nothing patronising nor sarcastic about my post, woman. The only thing sarcastic was "psychic, are we?"

would you not be grateful for such an action in that situation? (trying to avoid being psychic here and actually asking u! :D)

I don't know, an honest answer. I don't want to say that I'll pwn them all with my big fists and my awesome wit... Nor do I want to say that I'll sit there and wait for them to end their poo spewing.

Or smother another person in goo.
