The time taken by the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) in
prostrations, bowing, and the sitting interval between the two prostrations
was about the same.

Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 783

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah[SAWW](PBUH) said, "Do not ask me unnecessarily about the details of the things which I do not mention to you. Refrain from what I forbid you and do what I command you to the best of your ability and capacity". [Al-Bukhari Chapter # 92 Hadith # 391].

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

20th Rajab 1435 (19th May 2014)

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Some poor people came to the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) and
said, "The wealthy people will get higher grades and will have permanent
enjoyment and they pray like us and fast as we do. They have more money by
which they perform the Hajj, and 'Umra; fight and struggle in Allah's Cause
and give in charity."

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said,
"Shall I not tell you a thing upon which if you acted you would catch up
with those who have surpassed you? Nobody would overtake you and you would
be better than the people amongst whom you live except those who would do
the same.

Say "Sub-han-al-lah", "Alhamdu-lillah" and "Allahu Akbar" thirty
three times each after every (compulsory) prayer." We differed and some of
us said that we should say, "Subhan-al-lah" thirty three times and "Alhamdu
lillah" thirty three times and "Allahu Akbar" thirty four times.

I went to
the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) who said, "Say, "Subhan-al-lah"
and "Alhamdu lillah" and "Allahu Akbar" all together for thirty three
times."

Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 804

Hazrat Abu Said Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "How can I feel at ease when the Angel of the Trumpet, (Israfil) has put his lips to the Trumpet and is waiting for the order to blow it". He [SAWW](PBUH) perceived as if this had shocked his Companions, so he [SAWW](PBUH) told them to seek comfort through reciting: `Hasbunallah wa ni`mal-Wakil [Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us)]". [At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2431]

Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Among the people of Hell are there those who will be emerged in fire to their ankles, some to their knees, some to their waists, and some to their throats". You should not give away a part of your prayer to Satan by thinking that it
is necessary to depart (after finishing the prayer) from one's right side
only; I have seen the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) often leave
from the left side.

Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 811

Hazrat Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Musa (Moses) (PBUH) asked his Rubb: `Who amongst the inhabitants of Jannah will be the lowest in rank?’ He said: `It will be a person who will be admitted into Jannah last of all when all the dwellers of Jannah have entered Jannah. It will be said to him: Enter Jannah. But he will say: O my Rubb! How should I enter while the people have settled in their apartments and taken their shares? It will be said to him: Will you be satisfied and pleased if you have a kingdom like that of a monarch of the world? He will say: I will be content, my Rubb. Allah will say: For you is that, and like that and like that and like that and like that. He will say at the fifth time: I am well-pleased, my Rubb. Allah will say: It is for you and ten times more like it. You will have whatever your soul desires and whatever your eyes could delight in. He will say: I am well-pleased, my Rubb.’ Musa (PBUH) said: `Who will be of the highest rank in Jannah.’ Allah said: `They are those whom I chose and I established their honour with My Own Hand. When he says this he should reply: ‘Yahdikumullh was yuslihu balakum (may Allah guide you and render sound your state of affairs). [Bukhari - Riyad us Saliheen Chapter 142, 879]

Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, "Any person who takes a bath on Friday like
the bath of Janaba and then goes for the prayer (in the first hour i.e.
early), it is as if he had sacrificed a camel (in Allah's cause); and
whoever goes in the second hour it is as if he had sacrificed a cow; and
whoever goes in the third hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed a horned
ram; and if one goes in the fourth hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed
a hen; and whoever goes in the fifth hour then it is as if he had offered
an egg.

When the Imam comes out (i.e. starts delivering the Khutba), the

angels present themselves to listen to the Khutba."

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever takes a bath on
Friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses his (hair) oil or
perfumes himself with the scent of his house, then proceeds (for the Jumua
prayer) and does not separate two persons sitting together (in the masjid),
then prays as much as (Allah has) written for him and then remains silent
while the Imam is delivering the Khutba, his sins in-between the present
and the last Friday would be forgiven."

Bukhari Vol. 2 : No. 8

Hazrat Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah[SAWW](PBUH) said, "The similitude of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like a rain which has fallen on some ground. A fertile part of earth has absorbed water and brought forth much grass and herbs. Another part, which is solid, held the water and Allah benefits men thereby, who drank and gave others to drink, and used it for irrigation. But some of it has fallen on a portion of sandy land which neither retains the water nor produces herbage. Such is the likeness of the man who understands the religion of Allah and who gets benefit of what Allah has sent me with; he learns and teaches others. It is also the likeness of the man who neither raises his head on that account (meaning he does not benefit from what the Prophet [SAWW](PBUH) was sent with) nor accepts Allah’s Guidance with which I am sent". [Al-Bukhari Book 01, Chapter 03, Hadith # 079]

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah[SAWW](PBUH) said, "He who takes an oath and involuntarily says: `By Al-Lat and Al-`Uzza’ should at once affirm: `La ilaha illallah (there is no true god except Allah)’, and he who says to his companion: `Come let’s gamble’ should make expiation by giving something in charity.” [Al-Bukhari Hadith # 4860 and Muslim Hadith # 1647].
