Hazrat Ubadah bin As-Samit (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "He who bears witness that there is no true god except Allah, alone having no partner with Him, that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger, that `Isa (Jesus) is His slave and Messenger and he (Jesus) is His Word which He communicated to Maryam (Mary) and His spirit which He sent to her, that Jannah is true and Hell is true; Allah will make him enter Jannah accepting whatever deeds he accomplished".

Another narration in Muslim is: the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Whosoever testifies that there is no true god except Allah and that Muhammad [SAWW](PBUH) is the Messenger of Allah, Allah (SWT) saves him from the Fire (of Hell)".

'Abdullah bin Masud said, "Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, 'Whoever takes an oath when asked to do so, in which he may deprive a Muslim of his property unlawfully, will meet Allah Who will be angry with
him.' So Allah revealed in confirmation of this statement:--"Verily!

Those who Purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and oaths, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter..." (3.77)

Then entered Al-Ash'ath bin Qais and said, "What is Abu 'Abdur-Rahman narrating to you?" We

Hazrat Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "When an infidel accomplishes any good deed, he is rewarded for it in this world; and in the case of a Muslim, Allah stores up his good acts for him in the Hereafter and provides him with subsistence in this life due to his obedience.”

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

15th Rabi al-Thani 1434 (25th February 2013)

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Anyone whom Allah has given wealth but he does not pay its Zakat, then, on the Day of
Resurrection, his wealth will be presented to him in the shape of a bald-headed poisonous male snake with two poisonous glands in its mouth and it will encircle itself round his neck and bite him over his cheeks and say, "I am your wealth; I am your treasure."

Then the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) recited this Divine Verse:--

"And let not those who covetously withhold of that which Allah has bestowed upon them of His Bounty." (3.180)

16th Rabi al-Thani 1434 (26th February 2013)

Narrated Ibn Abbas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Regarding the Divine Verse: "O you who believe! You are forbidden to
inherit women against their will, and you should not treat them with
harshness that you may take back part of the (Mahr) dower you have given
them." (4.19) (Before this revelation) if a man died, his relatives used to
have the right to inherit his wife, and one of them could marry her if he
would, or they would give her in marriage if they wished, or, if they
wished, they would not give her in marriage at all, and they would be more
entitled to dispose her, than her own relatives. So the above Verse was
revealed in this connection.

Hazrat Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "I see what you do not see and I hear what you do not hear; heaven has squeaked, and it has right to do so. By Him, in Whose Hand my soul is, there is not a space of four fingers in which there is not an angel who is prostrating his forehead before Allah, the Exalted. By Allah, if you knew what I know, you would laugh little, weep much, and you would not enjoy women in beds, but would go out to the open space beseeching Allah". [At-Tirmidhi*Hadith #

18th Rabi al-Thani 1434 (28th February 2013)

Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha):

Whoever tells that Muhammad (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) concealed part of what was revealed to him, is a liar, for Allah says:--

"O Apostle (Muhammad)! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord." (5.67)

Bukhari Vol. 6 : No. 136

Hazrat Abdullah bin Masud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, When it was evening, the Prophet (PBUH) used to supplicate: "Amsaina wa amsal-mulku lillah, wal-hamdu lillah. La `ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu (We have entered upon evening and the whole kingdom of Allah, too, has entered upon evening. Praise is due to Allah. There is none who has the right to be worshiped but Allah, the One who has no partner with Him).” He (the narrator) said: I think that he (PBUH) used to follow the recitation with these words: "Lahul-mulku, wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shi’in Qadir. Rabbi as’aluka khaira ma fi hadhihil-lailati, wa khaira ma ba`daha; wa a`udhu bika min sharri ma fi hadhihil-lailati, wa sharri ma ba`daha; Rabbi a’udhu bika minal-kasali, wa su’il-kibari; Rabbi a`udhu bika min `adhabin fin-nari, wa `adhabin fil-qabri (His is the sovereignty and to Him is all praise due, and He is Omnipotent. My Rubb, I beg of you good that lies in this night and good that follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil that lies in this night and from the evil of that which follows it. My Rubb! I seek refuge in You from lethargy and the misery of old age. O Allah! I seek Your Protection from the torment of Hell-fire and the punishment of the grave).” When it was morning, he (PBUH) would recite the same, replacing the words: "We have entered upon evening and the whole kingdom of Allah, too, has entered upon evening” with "We have entered upon morning and the whole kingdom of Allah entered upon morning.” (Replace the words "Amsaina, amsa, hadhihil-lailati, ma ba`daha with Asbahna, asbaha, hadhal-yaumi, ma ba`dahu, respectively.)

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Do you know who is the bankrupt?” They said: "The bankrupt among us is one who has neither money with him nor any property". He said, "The real bankrupt of my Ummah would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with Salat, Saum and Sadaqah (charity), (but he will find himself bankrupt on that day as he will have exhausted the good deeds) because he reviled others, brought calumny against others, unlawfully devoured the wealth of others, shed the blood of others and beat others; so his good deeds would be credited to the account of those (who suffered at his hand). If his good deeds fall short to clear the account, their sins would be entered in his account and he would be thrown in the (Hell) Fire".

I heard 'Umar while he was on the pulpit of the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying,

"Now then O people! The revelation about the prohibition of alcoholic drinks was revealed; and alcoholic drinks are extracted from five things:

Grapes, dates, honey, wheat and barley. And the alcoholic drink is that which confuses and stupefies the mind."

20th Rabi al-Thani 1434 (2nd March 2013)

Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The alcoholic drink which was spilled was Al-Fadikh. I used to offer alcoholic drinks to the people at the residence of Abu Talha.

Then the order of prohibiting Alcoholic drinks was revealed, and the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) ordered somebody to announce that: Abu Talha said to me, "Go out and see what this voice (this announcement ) is."

I went out and (on coming back) said, "This is somebody announcing that alcoholic beverages have been prohibited."

Abu Talha said to me, "Go and spill it (i.e. the wine)," Then it (alcoholic drinks) was seen flowing
through the streets of Medina.

At that time the wine was Al-Fadikh. The
people said, "Some people (Muslims) were killed (during the battle of Uhud) while wine was in their stomachs."

So Allah revealed: "On those who believe
and do good deeds there is no blame for what they ate (in the past)." (5.93)
