Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah :saws: said:

“A Muslim is a brother of (another) Muslim, he neither wrongs him nor does hand him over to one who does him wrong. If anyone fulfils his brother’s needs, Allah will fulfil his needs; if one relieves a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection…”

He will reply, 'Muhammad and his followers (will stand witness for me).' So, I and my followers will stand as witnesses for him (that he conveyed Allah's Message)." The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever intentionally
swears falsely by a religion other than Islam, then he is what he has said,
(e.g. if he says, 'If such thing is not true then I am a Jew,' he is really
a Jew). And whoever commits suicide with piece of iron will be punished
with the same piece of iron in the Hell Fire." Narrated Jundab the Prophet
(Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A man was inflicted with wounds and
he committed suicide, and so Allah said: My slave has caused death on
himself hurriedly, so I forbid Paradise for him."

On the authority of Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"Let not any one of you belittle himself." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, how can any one of us belittle himself?" He said: "He finds a matter concerning Allah about which he should say something, and he does not say [it], so Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says to him on the Day of Resurrection: 'What prevented you from saying something about such-and-such and such-and-such?' He will say: 'It was] out of fear of people.' Then He says: 'Rather it is I whom you should more properly fear.'"

"Allah will say to the inhabitant of Paradise: 'O inhabitants of Paradise!' They will say: 'O our Lord, we present ourselves and are at Your pleasure, and goodness rests in Your hands.' Then He will say: 'Are you contented?' And they will say: 'And how should we not be contented, O Lord, when You have given to us that which You have given to no one else of Your creation?' Then He will say: 'Would you not like Me to give you something better than that?' And they will say: 'O Lord and what thing is better than that?' And He will say: 'I shall cause My favour to descend upon you and thereafter shall never be displeased with you.'"

...we kill the children of the polytheists during the night raids. He said: They are from them.

What's the meaning of this hadith ? I read that Prophet (pbuh ) told Muslims not to kill kids , women , old who don't fight .

Bukhari :: Book 3 :: Volume 49 :: Hadith 857
Narrated Um Kulthum bint Uqba:

Assalaam Alaikum.

During the night raids it was hard to see, so therefore it is extremely difficult to distguinish between the enemy be it they be kids, women, men. It is wrong to purposefully go after kids, women, old. But during the night raid that is not the intention.

I hope that is right.

Malik :: Book 56 : Hadith 56.1.1
Malik related to me from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If a man says to his muslim brother, 'O kafir!' it is true about one of them."

Narrated Ibn Abbas

Whenever the Prophet offered the night (Tahajjud) prayer, he used to say, "O Allah! All the Praises are for You; You are the Light of the Heavens and the Earth. And all the Praises are for You; You are the Keeper of the Heavens and the Earth. All the Praises are for You; You are the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth and whatever is therein. Youare the Truth, and Your Promise is the Truth, and Your Speech is the Truth, and meeting You is the Truth, and Paradise is the Truth and Hell (Fire) is the Truth and all the prophets are the Truth and the Hour is the Truth. O Allah! I surrender to You, and believe in You, and depend upon You, and repent to You, and in Your cause I fight and with Your orders I rule. So please forgive my past and future sins andthose sins which I did in secret or in public. It is You Whom I worship, None has the right to be worshipped except You ." (See Hadith No. 329,Vol. 8)

Dawud :: Book 14 : Hadith 2522
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:

A man came to the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) and said: I came to you to take the oath of allegiance to you on emigration, and I left my parents weeping. He (the Prophet) said: Return to them and make them laugh as you made them weep.

Bukhari :: Book 3 :: Volume 32 :: Hadith 229
Narrated 'Urwa:

That he was informed by 'Aisha, "Allah's Apostle went out in the middle of the night and prayed in the mosque and some men prayed behind him. In the morning, the people spoke about it and then a large number of them gathered and prayed behind him (on the second night). In the next morning the people again talked about it and on the third night the mosque was full with a large number of people. Allah's Apostle came out and the people prayed behind him. On the fourth night the Mosque was overwhelmed with people and could not accommodate them, but the Prophet came out (only) for the morning prayer. When the morning prayer was finished he recited Tashah-hud and (addressing the people) said, "Amma ba'du, your presence was not hidden from me but I was afraid lest the night prayer (Qiyam) should be enjoined on you and you might not be able to carry it on." So, Allah's Apostle died and the situation remained like that (i.e. people prayed individually). "
