Prayer at Night- 17th Rajab 1433 (7th June 2012)

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Satan puts three
knots at the back of the head of any of you if he is asleep. On every knot
he reads and exhales the following words, 'The night is long, so stay
asleep.'

When one wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is undone; and
when one performs ablution, the second knot is undone, and when one prays
the third knot is undone and one gets up energetic with a good heart in the
morning; otherwise one gets up lazy and with a mischievous heart."

Go and wake the sleeping lady occupants of these dwellings up (for prayers), perhaps a well-dressed in this world may be naked in the Hereafter."

it (to keep standing for the prayer.)"

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Don't use it. Remove the rope. You should pray as long as you feel active, and when you get tired, sit down."

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Faith (Belief) consists of more than sixty branches (i.e. parts). And Haya (This term "Haya" covers a large number of concepts which are to be taken together; amongst them are self respect, modesty, bashfulness, and scruple, etc.) is a part of faith."

The Prophet (saws) said: "Each person's every joint must perform a charity every day the sun comes up: to act justly between two people is a charity; to help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoistine up his belongings onto it is a charity; every step you take to prayers is a charity; and removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity."
-Reported by Abu Hurirah.

Even smiling is a charity! And our rewards are counted more than our bad deeds. Yet we complain? How easy and merciful Allah (swt) has made it for us, yet often we are too blind to see!

Bukhari Volume 3, Book 48, Number 813:
