Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

Prophets - 12th Rabi al-Awwal 1434 (24th January 2013)

Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha):

(the wife of the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)) I asked Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) about the plague.

He told me that it was a Punishment sent by Allah on whom he wished, and Allah made it a
source of mercy for the believers, for if one in the time of an epidemic plague stays in his country patiently hoping for Allah's Reward and
believing that nothing will befall him except what Allah has written for him, he will get the reward of a martyr."

Hazrat Abu Masud Al-Badri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: We were sitting in the company of Saad bin Ubadah (May Allah be pleased with him), when the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) came to us. Bashir bin Saad said: "O Messenger of Allah! Allah has commanded us to supplicate for you, but how should we do that?” The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) kept silent. We were much perturbed over his silence and we wished he did not asked him this question. The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Say: `O Allah, exalt the mention of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as you exalted the family of Ibrahim. And bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed the family of Ibrahim. You are the Praised, the Glorified,’ and the method of greeting (i.e., Salam) is as you know.”

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

Prophets - 13th Rabi al-Awwal 1434 (25th January 2013)

Narrated Abu Sa'id (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Amongst the people preceding your age, there was a man whom Allah had given a lot of money.

While he was in his death-bed, he called his sons and said, 'What type of father have I been to you?' They replied, 'You have been a good father.'

He said, 'I have never done a single good deed; so when I die, burn me, crush my body, and scatter the resulting ashes on a windy day.'

His sons did accordingly, but Allah gathered his particles and asked (him), 'What made
you do so?'

He replied, 'Fear of you.'

So Allah bestowed His Mercy upon him
(forgave him)."

Prophets - 16th Rabi al-Awwal 1434 (28th January 2013)

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "We are the last (to come)
but we will be the foremost on the Day of Resurrection, nations were given
the Book (i.e. Scripture) before us, and we were given the Holy Book after
them. This (i.e. Friday) is the day about which they differed. So the next
day (i.e. Saturday) was prescribed for the Jews and the day after it (i.e.
Sunday) for the Christians. It is incumbent on every Muslim to wash his
head and body on a Day (i.e. Friday) (at least) in every seven days."

Hazrat Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-Aas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Verily, Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it from the people, but He takes it away by taking away (the lives of) the religious scholars till none of the scholars stays alive. Then the people will take ignorant ones as their leaders, who, when asked to deliver religious verdicts, will issue them without knowledge, the result being that they will go astray and will lead others astray.”

Reporters:
Reported by At-Tirmithi, Al-Bukhari, Ibn Majah, and Al-Hakim who said it was of sound ascription (Saheeh Isnad). Al-Albani included this hadeeth in The Authentic of Good Sayings as.

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Verily, one of the

real father, or to claim to have had a dream one has not had, or to
attribute to me what I have not said."

So whoever can find a place of protection or refuge from them, should take shelter in it.".
