Hadith of the day:)

“A Muslim is a brother of (another) Muslim, he neither wrongs him nor does hand him over to one who does him wrong. If anyone fulfils his brother’s needs, Allah will fulfil his needs; if one relieves a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection…”
[Bukhari and Muslim].

1st Safar 1435 (4th December 2013)

Narrated Usaid bin Hudair (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

A man came to the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) and said, "O
Allah's Apostle! You appointed such-and-such person and you did not appoint
me?" The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "After me you will
see rulers not giving you your right (but you should give them their right)
and be patient till you meet me."

Bukhari Vol. 9 : No. 179
 
Hazrat Wabisah bin Mabad (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I went to Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) and he asked me, "Have you come to inquire about piety?” I replied in the affirmative. Then he said, "Ask your heart regarding it. Piety is that which contents the soul and comforts the heart, and sin is that which causes doubts and perturbs the heart, even if people pronounce it lawful and give you verdicts on such matters again and again.”

[Masnad Ahmad, Imam Ahmad Hadith # 228/4].

Narrated Usama bin Zaid (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Once the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) stood over one of the high
buildings of Medina and then said (to the people), "Do you see what I see?"
They said, "No." He said, "I see afflictions falling among your houses as
rain drops fall."

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):








The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Time will pass rapidly,
good deeds will decrease, miserliness will be thrown (in the hearts of the
people) afflictions will appear and there will be much 'Al-Harj." They
said, "O Allah's Apostle! What is "Al-Harj?" He said, "Killing! Killing!"

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah[SAWW](PBUH) said, The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding of Deen.”

against us, is not from us."

out towards his Muslim brother with a weapon, for he does not know, Satan
may tempt him to hit him and thus he would fall into a pit of fire (Hell)."

(evil doing) and killing him is Kufr (disbelief)."

Hazrat Jarir bin Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "He who is deprived of forbearance, tenderly feelings and gentleness is, in fact, deprived of good.”

to disbelief after me by striking (cutting) the necks of one another."

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah[SAWW](PBUH) said, He who has done a wrong affecting his brother’s honor or anything else, let him ask his forgiveness today before the time (i.e., the Day of Resurrection) when he will have neither a dinar nor a dirham. If he has done some good deeds, a portion equal to his wrong doings will be subtracted from them; but if he has no good deeds, he will be burdened with the evil deeds of the one he had wronged in the same proportion".

[Bukhari Book 08, Chapter 76, Hadith # 541].

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If Allah sends
punishment upon a nation then it befalls upon the whole population
indiscriminately and then they will be resurrected (and judged) according
to their deeds. "

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Follow the Right Path of Faith strictly, and be steadfast; and keep in mind that none of you can achieve salvation through his (good) actions.” Someone asked, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?” He [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Not even me, unless Allah grants me His Mercy and Grace".

[Muslim*Book 39, Chapter 15, Hadith # 6762].
 
English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah[SAWW](PBUH) said, "He who dies without having fought in the Cause of Allah or without having thought of doing so, will die with one characteristic of hypocrisy in him.”

[Muslim Hadith # 1910].
 
Anas b. Malik said: The Prophet said, 'Make things easy and do not make them difficult. Calm people down and do not alarm them.'

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The Hour will not be
established till a man passes by a grave of somebody and says, 'Would that
I were in his place.' "

Hazrat Abu Said Al-Khudri and Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "If a person says: `La ilaha illallahu wallahu Akbar (There is no true god except Allah and Allah is Greatest)’, his Rubb responds to him and affirms: `(Yes!) There is no true god except I, and I am the Greatest.’ When he says: `La ilaha illallahu Wahdahu la sharika Lahu (There is no true god except Allah, the One, He has no partner).’ Allah (SWT) affirms: `(Yes!) There is no true god except I. I have no partner.’ When he says: `La ilaha illallahu Lahul mulku wa Lahul-hamdu (the sovereignty belongs to Him and all the praise is due to Him).’ He (SWT) affirms: `(Yes!) There is no true god except I, Mine is the praise and to Me belongs the sovereignty.’ When he says: `La ilaha illallahu wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa Billah (There is no true god except Allah, and there is no might and power but with Allah).’ He (SWT) affirms: `(Yes!) There is no true god except I, and there is no might and power but with Me.”’ The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) added, "He who recites this during his illness and dies, will not be touched by the Fire (Hell).”

[At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 3430].

Narrated Ma'qil (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

I heard the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying, "Any man whom
Allah has given the authority of ruling some people and he does not look
after them in an honest manner, will never feel even the smell of
Paradise."
