:) According to ahadith; Bahirah an-Nisari saw the Prophet :arabic5: with a cloud following him :arabic5: and so he invited over the entire party of people accompanying the Prophet :arabic5:, but he :arabic5: was left behind at the start to look after the goods.

:D Who was 'Imran bin Amr bin Amr (Imran the son of Amr; who was the son of Amr), and how did he know who Muhammad :arabic5: was?

I remember reading about this in that link you provided about Muhammad's (saw) Biography...but unforunately it didn't mention about 'Imran. So I don't know who he was but I would guess that he found out about the Prophet (saw) by studying previous scriptures? :brother:

:sl:

It might be because you haven't got Adobe Acrobat, since that is what it links to I think...

Oh yes sorry about that :-[ lol, ok I think I have the answer Insha'Allaah...

'Imran was the uncle of the prophet (saw):

The leader of Quraysh had a son called Mughirah, who had a son (amongst 4) called Amar, who had a son called Shaiba, who had 12 sons of whom 2 were Abdulla and 'Imran.

So Shaiba (also known as Abdul-Muttalib), the nephew of Muttalib (another son of Mughira), was the Prophet (saw)'s grandfather and 'Imran was the Prophet (saw)'s Uncle.

When Shaiba passed away, Muhammad (saw) -son of Abdullah - was in the care of 'Imran and so this is how they knew each other. 'Imran is the one who was taking Muhammad (saw) on a business trip when they met Bahirah the monk.

Btw - Ahmed, maybe it would help if you put a family tree in that Biography to make it easier to picture, if it's possible of course.
