i like the name .. Noor Muhammad and Saifollah (slave of Allah)

Salaam o 'alykum warahmatulahi wabarakatuh.

wow good choices bro masha Allaah. :) but saifAllaah means 'sword of Allaah subhanahu wa ta'aala' and Abdullah means 'slave of Allaah subhanahu wa ta'aala' insha Allaah.

i would want the sons to have:

Abdullah, Muhammad, Mujahid.. gota think more about othaz yet insha Allaah.

daughterz:

Fatima, Zaynab, um-kalthum, Ruqaya.. still gota think of more.

but all these are just some i thought over yet, insha Allaah.

wa Salaam o 'alykum warahmatulahi wabarakatuh.

:sl:

If I have kids, I'd want at most, 4... Kids are cute when they're chubby babies... And I want all girls or at most one boy (they're annoying, no offense)

If I have boys, I'd name them, Abdul-Wahhab, Abdul-Hakeem, Zakariya, Salman, Yusuf (my favorite), Mustapha, Aladdin ( ;) ), Ayman, Dawud, Faris, Hakeem, Haroon, Idris, Ishaq, Ja'far, Jibreel, Luqman, Mu'awiyah (lol, would suit him well), Musa, Nadhir, Abdullah, Sulaiman... I think that's it for boys....

For girls: Abir, Adibah, Khadijah, Karima, Asiya, Asma', Hedaya (after my friend  ), Hana', Huriyya (love the sound of that), Jamila, Aaliyah, Leyla, Leena, Nabilah, Noor, Qurratul-Ain (after another friend  ), Safiyyah (one of my favorites), Samah (after another friend), Wafiyyah, and Zakiyyah... And that's it for my girls... And of course, dena... ;)

bro, thank you .. :peace:

assalaamu alaikum,

uhh.... :uuh: i think i'll decide after i get married...

but as for now, i would like to name the boys after Prophets' names and girls after the names of righteous women among the Prophets

Salaam aleikum

I have three kids. Malika is 7, my son Sofiane is almost 6 yrs old, and little Khadija she is 11 months old.

Its hard work, but alhamdulillah, so nice.

And, if inshaAllah we will have another child, names that are on the list are:

Imran, Ameer for boy, and Sumaya, Ameera, somthing like that, for girls.

And we need a short, Norwegian name without meaning or a name of a Prophet or something, to add, since the law here require that Norwegian kids with weird names add another normal name to it. So we think about something like Noah Imran or something, and use Imran in daily life.

The other kids got double names too, Malika Lina, Sofiane Emil, and Dina Khadija.

aww..thats sad..you have to add other names on...may Allah bless you with children Ameen....i thought about the girl names: i like khadija and Aisha....and my Grandma wants to name my boy children Zakariyya and Yahya i just found out!!!and im not even married..but inshallah...lets see what happens in the future.....

Well, its okay by me that they have to have two names. Maybe later, when they grow up, they can use the Norwegian name when they apply for jobs hehe... Even if they dont have Norwegian family-name two of them (two oldest are half Algerians, but youngest is Norwegian ).

We use the "muslim" names anyway, only few people in my family in law who cant pronounce Khadija lol. They say Dina. Its okay by me.
