Osmaniya script is beautiful

but i think the script used by somali poets is nicer

it was mainly used by poets

That's because the last president banned it together with the Osmaniya Script and adopted the Latin Script instead

there somalis who still use Osmaniya script like my Uncles but Borama i have no idea

there are probably some poets in Borama city who still use it since it was devised there and probably means alot to my people there

Salam aleikum all.. this is old thread and I wonder if anyone could still teach somali language here..
Im very exited to learn somalians coulture, language etc.. I have many somalian friends but they always teach only swearing so I know lot of these words :S
