when are u going? it is due to be even more packed april....try the first floor especially if you want to sit and watch the kabah for a while around 10pm. super peaceful and quiet, i fell asleep there last week :omg:

Sheikh Salaah Muhammad Al Budair - Friday 30/03/2012 - Jummah Khutbah - Brief Summary - Translation

Sheikh Salaah Muhammad Al Budair First Began Praising Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'aala. The Respected Imam Of Masjid Nabawi In The Khutbah Began Praising The Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam In Order For The Gathering To Understand The Status Of The Beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam.

The Respected Shaykh Went On To Say How The Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam Is The Most Followed Person On The Surface Of This Earth. The Respected Shaykh Went On To Quote An Ayaah Of The Quran ( Glorious Quran 33:56 ) - Innallaha Wa Malaaikatahu Yusalluna Alan Nabi. Ya Ay Yuhal Latheena Amanu Sallu Alayhi Wasalli Mu Tasleema

The Respected Shaykh Of The Grand Mosque Thereafter Expressed The Status Of The Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam Within The Various Ways Including The Quoted Verse Above. Thereafter The Respected Imam In Front Of The Thousands Of People Began Quoting Ahadith Narrated By Abu Huraira Radhiyallahu Anhu / Anas Radhiyallahu Anhu And Abdillahi Ibn Amir Bin Atta ...... Radhiyallahu Anhu - Which Are Found In The Books Of Ahadith.

One Hadith Which The Respected Imam Of The Grand Mosque Mentioned Was: Rasulullah (Sallallaaahu Alayhi Wasallam) Has Said: - " Whosoever Sends One Durood Upon Me, Allah Ta'ala Will Shower Ten Mercies Upon Him." (Muslim)

The Respected Imam Of Masjid Nabawi Then Began Mentioning The Following Which Is In The Books Of Ahadith (Tirmidhi Shareef, Ahmad And Hakim): Ubay Ibne Ka'ab Radhiyallahu Anhu Reports That “I Asked, 'o. Rasoolullah, I Would Like To Recite Much Salat Upon You, How Much Of The Time That I Have Set Aside For Du'aa Shall I Use For It?'

The Respected Shaykh Thereafter Started Mentioning A Couple Of The Virtues And Benefits A Person Recieves By Reciting Salat And Salam Upon The Beloved Prophet Of Allah Sallallaaahu Alayhi Wasallam Below: (Not All)
  1. Almighty Allah Sends Ten Mercies Upon A Person Who Recites Durood Once.
  2. Ten Of His Sins Are Forgiven.
  3. The Person’s Rank Is Raised By Ten Degrees.
  4. Ten Rewards Are Written For Him.
  5. There Is Acceptance Of Dua Where Durood Is Recited At The Beginning & At The End.
  6. T He Person Will Be Blessed With The Intercession Of Rasulullah (saw).
  7. Almighty Allah Will Forgive His Sins.
  8. Almighty Allah Is Pleased With Him.
  9. The Person Will Be Nearer To The Prophet (saw) On The Day Of Judgement.
  10. The Person Will Have All His Worries Removed In This World And The Hereafter.
The Respected Shaykh Mentioned How The Day Of Jummah Is A Gift And How The Prophet Adam Alayhisalam Was Born On The Day Of Jummah. The Respected Shaykh And Imam Of The Grand Mosque Mentioned On How The Companions Were Also Encouraged To Increase Their Salat And Salam Upon The Prophet Of Allah Sallallaaahu Alayhi Wasallam. The Respected Imam And Khateeb Thereafter Touched Upon How It Is Haram For The Bodies Of The Prophets To Be Consumed By The Earth.

The Respected Khateeb Of The Grand Mosque Continued His Sermon And Khutbaa Mentioning How We Should First Praise Allah And Thereafter The Prophet Of Allah Sallallaaahu Alayhi Wasallam.

Thereafter The Khateeb Of The Grand Mosque Began Mentioning A Story Of A Sahabi And The Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam. The Sahabi Made Dua Very Quick, So When The Sahabi Had Finished His Dua He Informed Him That He Was Haste When He Made Dua, Whereas We Should First Praise Allah And Thereafter Send Salutations Upon Our Beloved Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam And Make Dua. The Respected Imam Of The Grand Mosque Then During His Sermon Informed The Thousands Of Followers That When The Adhan Is Given, We Should Repeat The Same Words As The Muadhin Is Saying Then After The Adhan Is Finished We Should First Send Salutations Upon Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam And Then Read The Masnoon Dua Wherein The Status Of The Beloved Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam Is Mentioned And Duas For The Beloved Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam Are Stated: Allahuma Rabba Hadhihid Da'awatit Ta'ama, Was Salaatil Qaa'imah Aati Muhammadinil Waseelata Wal Fadheelata Wab Aathhu Maqaamam Mahmoodaniladhi Wa' At'tah Innaka Laa Tuqliful Meeaad.


The Respected Khateeb Then Informed The Gathering During The Weekly Friday And Jummah Sermon Saying That We Should Not Make Our Homes Like Graveyards. - Abu Huraira Radhiyallahu Ta'aalah Anha Has Also Reported A Similar Hadith In Muslim Shareef -. During The Weekly Sermon The Khateeb Thereafter Encouraged The Gathering To Increase The Love We Have For Our Beloved Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam, And The Way To Do It Is Reciting More Salat And Salam. Those Who Do Not Recite Salat And Salam Are Greedy The Respected Imam Added. The Respected Shaykh Mentioned How The Group Of People Who Have A Conversation And Dont Mention The Beloved Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam's Name There Is A Fear Of Depression Overcoming Them So The Respected Imam And Khateeb Of Masjid Nabawi Encouraged And Said It Is Necessary That In The Gatherings We Mention Our Beloved Prophet Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam's Name And Added How We Should Send Salat And Salam Too.


Concluding This Transcript Of The Friday Khutbah Which Has Been Written To The Best Of My Knowledge And Ability There Is A Few Points Which The Respected Shaykh Mentioned Which We Possibly Face In Our Daily Lives. May Allah First Forgive Me If Anything In This Transcript Is Wrong And May Allah Make This Transcript Of The Jummah Khutbah Bring A Change In Our Lives And May He Increase Our Love For The Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam. Starting With The First Point Which Was Mentioned Was How People Who Know The Arab Language, When They Write The Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam's Name, They Abbrevieate It By Writing A 'saad' - Wherein They Should Write The Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam's Name In Full. For Us Living In The United Kingdom, South Africa And Where Every The English Language Is Spoken, We Should Try Our Utmost Best To Write The Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam's Name In Full Than Wrting 's.a.w'. The Second Point Which He Mentioned And Stressed Upon In The Second Khutbah Was How Important It Is To Send Salutations Upon Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam And How We Should Make Sure We Avoid Any Type Of Innovations And ' Bidah ' Relating To This. He Informed The Gathering That We Should Send Salutations Upon The Beloved Prophet Of Allah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalam According To The Sunnah.


May Allah Forgive Me For My Errors In This Transcript And May Allah Forgive Me For Missing Any Parts Out Of This Brief And Short Transcript Of The Friday Jummah Khutbah Delivered In Masjid Nabawi By The Imam Sheikh Salaah Muhammad Al Budair.

I'm a lil confused.. Just listenin to the Khutbah again.. Sheikh says that many 3awwaam believe that our beloved Prophet :saws: stretches His blessed hands out from His qabr mubarak towards people who recite durud & salam upon our Master :saws:.. & he goes on to say that this is clearly wrong.. (Please correct me if I am mistaken).. My question is, just recently we heard that 'apparently' the Prophet :saws: stretched His blessed hands out towards Maulana Yunus Patel (RA) & many people gave witness to this incident.. I also remember a similar story of an Akaabire Deoband if memory serves me correctly.. This person went into deep muraqabah & again the Prophet :saws: stretched His blessed hands out towards him.. Many people gave witness to this too.. But this is contradicting nah..? Then again, difference of opinion amongst the Ummah is rahmah.. :unsure:.. Idk.. Allah (SWT) knows best.

We live in an era where there's so much confusion all around.. You don't know what's right & what's wrong.. Who to believe, who not to believe.. :hiding:

It is reported on authority of Abu Hurairah radiallahu anhu that Rasulullah salallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam said, “Whosoever listens to a verse from the book of Allah the All Mighty and High, multiple rewards are written down for him, and whosoever recites it, then for him is a (specific) light on the day of reckoning.” (Musnad Ahmad 14/191)

By The Way Sheikh Muhsin Al Qasim Sounds Bunged Up Sometimes When He Reads - Maybe He May Not Be Feeling Very Well

Sheikh Omar Nabeel Sunbul Was Imitating Sheikh Muhammad Majid Hakeem Slightly / Sheikh Muhammad Ali Shaker A Bit Too In The Esha Adhan

But I Can Say To Imitate Sheikh Muhammad Majid Hakeem Can Be Very Quite Difficult Due To The Pitch Of His Voice And Tone
