I didn't even look at him first so id didn't know it was him. When he started reciting i thought the voice sounded familiar. It was awesome, Masha'allah. After Salah, i went and shook hands with him. In a way, it was better that he came.

Like she said the other day, she didn't think that Sheikh Sudais was gonna lead yesterday (at the event). She was right. :)

MST - I recorded 2nd rakah.. I felt bad rubbing it in wAK.! :p

insha'Allah I'll post when time gives me permission! :confused:

PS. Sheikh Sudais never came to the UK in the FIRST place. I already knew and told amani hence, she said she had a feeling that Sheikh Sudais would not lead. :) I'll fill you in later insha'Allah. :)

Sheik Sau'd Al-Shreim in A Friday Sermon at Mecca's Al-Haram Mosque: Western Women contemptible Merchandise in Houses of Whoring and Abomination

Saudi preacher, Sa'ud Al-Shreim dedicated his Friday sermon at Al-Haram Mosque to women in the West and in Islam and to the differences between the genders. Following are excerpts:

Sheik Al-Shreim: What (Western) countries did in reality, in order to liberate the woman was to turn her into contemptible merchandise in houses of whoring and abomination, into banal images in music videos or a seductive body for marketing goods and so on, in commercials which can only be marketed by a woman's body.

Complete liberation in the woman's issue is a beast ridden by the ignorant and credulous or those who lead others astray and sow seeds of confusion creating a breach in the social harmony of the Muslim country. Out of this window, the time bombs are thrown. Moreover, this is the door through which the Apple of Satan appears, because the word 'liberty' has a bewitching affect on common people, especially adolescent boys and girls.

Allah has given men precedence as prophets, Great Imams, judges, imams of prayer, and in Jihad for the sake of Allah. In addition, a man gets married without a guardian, and divorce is preformed by the man, and, in many cases, the man receives twice as much as the woman in inheritance, and the son is related to his father, he marries four women and takes maids as concubines and the testimony of two women equals that of a man, and many things besides this.
