I cant describe hearing Sudais and Shuraim and Budair live. There are no words to describe it. You have to experience it for yourself to know how it feels. The powerful and soothing voices echoing in the haram, it gives u a sense of peace that you dont get ANYWHERE else in the world.

I soooo knew it wasn't Sheikh Shuraim when sheikh Taalib led that first night, ;D but I got worried thinking either Sheikh Sudais or Sheikh Shuraim wouldn't lead those last ten nights. It was cool though, how they did it that yr. I wonder how they're gonna do it this yr. *excited*

But sheikh Taalib's current tune is just as great. I like all of their current and old styles. :D

Oh, and first time I ever heard sheikh Taalib was the first night he led Taraweeh. And I was like :omg: This is soooo sweet. :D

Errr...sheikh Shuraim's surah Fatiha.. I used to have it. *unsure* Maybe someone else will get to postin before me tho.

Oooh..all the imaams are :thumbs_up live. :wub: :'(

i try to recreate the live effectness by putting the speakers on surround and really loud, i like it when i listen to SS and its on loud and surround, it is as i am covered by the recitation

I heard SAS live way back in 1988 when my Dads friend bought back a tape of (which I still got) SAS reading traweeh! I thought woooo this guy is good mashallah!

But the one person I was truly truly amazed when I first heard him was Shaykh Salah Budair - sent a chill down my spine when he prayed!

SST is reciting awesome. This is actually the first im listening to his taraweeh recitations. Its more peaceful, hes like more faster and more smooth, and in the smoothness their is a type of powerful feeling wow undescribable.

ohh no doubt about that. I heard him recitiing Ya-Seen when i first heard him live, it was positevly spooky but sweet at the same time.

I like SST's taraweeh's Fatihah tune better then his one now. Its very :zip: !!!!

^ That has sheikh Shuraim's surah Fatiha and the way he used to go Ihdinas siratal mustaqeeem. :thumbs_up I'm sure Taraweeh 1423 also does, but I haven't heard it in a whiiile, so I'm not sure. :-[

Ohh, btw, bro Abdullah, I recorded Jumuah salaah, but not the khutbah. :-[ Khotab.net puts up the khutbah audio anyways though.

Do they usually have all the Khutbahs along with the salahs? If so can u provide the link plz sis?

no they dont have the salahs but they do have the khutbahs audio and sometimes video too :shade:

yeah that surah fatihah by SS is wicked but i don't like the ihdinas siraatal mustaqeem because he extends it
but i love his daaleen
