Mashallah, Sheikh Shuraim led Fajr, Surah Sajda in first rakat
Sheikh Huthaify led Salatul Jumua
Sheikh Salih Al Talib led Salatul Maghreb ( Surah Adiyat and Takathur
and Sheikh Huthaify led Salatul Maghreb in Madinah

Shaikh Shuraim recited from Surah Al-Ma'idah today in Fajr.

Can anyone find any recording where he recited Surah An-Naba other than Taraweeh? I want to make a collection of his Mujawwad recitation from other than Taraweeh prayers since they don't recite with full Tajweed in Taraweeh.

On the following site http://www.highqualityqurans.com/shuraim/cd14/ , track 13 is Surah Naba, although its from taraweeh he prays quite slow and with good tajweed and the quality is great

a sister told us that SS's wife is suffering from cancer.and she is in USA for treatment.:cry:

I thought that Sheikh Shuraim's wife had already passed away (inna lillahi wa inna ilaiji yarjiun) and this happened a few years back.

Maybe someone can clarify. Anyhow May Allah (swt) grant her recovery and the Sheikh adn family Sabr...ameen
 
but the sister told that just a month or two ago

i think the one who passed away was other than her(whom i m talking about)

Brother Abdullah Saood confirmed for us that his wife did pass away. She did have cancer. Allahu a'lam.

May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) reward her for suffering, and grant her Jannatul Firdaws, and may He have mercy on the Sheikh and their children...Ameen. :cry:

Sheikh Shuraim's leading from the Taraweeh spot. It must have rained, I think. Its so quiet by the Kabah. It feels so much like Ramadan watching him there... Ah, I miss the Ramadan feel. :cry:

He's reading from Surah Ale Imran.

Masha'ALLAH (SWT) it was beautiful :)..........btw doesnt it sound different from the Taraweeh spot, there seems to be more echo.

Did anyone watch yesterdays Fajr video from Madinah, coz it looked like Sheikh Thubaity was putting something in his ears after he started the Salat?
