ج/ شقراء هي مسقط آبائي وأجدادي وهي بلد والدي ووالدتي . ولها في النفس مكانة لارتباط الفرع بالاصل

س/ متى كانت آخر زيارة لفضيلتكم لشقراء ؟

ج/ آخر عهدي بها منذ بضع سنوات

س/ الشهادات التي حصل عليها فضيلتكم خلال مسيرتك في سلك التعليم ؟

ج/ سلكت التعليم المعتاد حتى حصلت على الدكتوراه بجامعة أم القرى

س/ ماهي الكتب التي تنصح بها للقراءة لمن أراد ان يتزود بالعلم الشرعي ؟

ج/ الكتب التي ينصح بها في طلب العلم كثيرة ولكن هذا يختلف بين مايحتاجه المبتدئ وبين مايحتاجه المتمكن .

فالمبتدئ يقرأ المختصرات في كل فن .. فمثلاً :

في التفسير : تفسير سعدي او تفسير ابن مبارك

وفي العقيدة : الأصول الثلاثة . والقواعد الاربع وكتاب التوحيد والواسطية . والقواعد المثلى لابن عثيمين .

وفي النحو : الآجروميه وملحة الاعراب

وفي المصطلح : البيقونية ونخبة الفكر.

س/ كم المدة التي قضاها فضيلتكم في امامته للحرم المكي الشريف ؟

ج/ أمضيت في الإمامة ثلاث عشرة سنة

س/ ماهي الأسس التي يتم فيها اختيار امام وخطيب المسجد الحرام ؟

ج/ الأسس التي يتم اختيار الامام فيها : أن يكون مستقيماً وحافظاً للقرآن الكريم ويحمل مؤهلاً شرعياً .. وأن يكون أهلاً للإمامة والخطابة والفتيا . وكل ذلك يرجع إلى موافقة ولي الأمر.

س/ مارأي فضيلتكم في كثرة تأول الأحلام التي انتشرت مؤخراً كالتي تدل على قرب زوال اسرائيل وقرب خروج المهدي ؟

ج/ الرؤى أمرها خطر وقد توسع الناس فيها وهي جزء من النبوة . كما قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم . ولذلك من خاض فيها فإنما يخوض في جزء من النبوة. وقد سئل ابن عبدالبر : أيفسر الرؤيا كل أحد ؟ فقال : أبا النبوة يُلعب ؟.

س/ هل كنت تتوقع يوماً ما أنك ستؤم جموع المصلين في المسجد الحرام ؟

ج / كانت هناك بعض الارهاصات التي توقعت من خلالها الإمامة في المسجد الحرام ومن ذلك بعض الرؤى التي رأيتها

س/ مارأي فضيلتكم في قناة المجد ؟

ج / قناة المجد قناة جديدة وهي بهذه الصورة الحالية تعد أفضل القنوات الفضائية التي رأيتها نسأل الله لنا ولهم الثبات على الحق . وهي قناة ليست معصومة قد يعتريها بعض الملحوظات

س/ عند تعيينكم إماماً وخطيباً في المسجد الحرام هل وافق تعيينكم وجود فضيلة الشيخ عبدالله الخليفي رحمه الله وجميع موتى المسلمين في ذلك الوقت ؟
ج / نعم قد وافق تعييني إماماً وجود فضيلة الشيخ عبدالله لمدة سنتين وأدركت الصلاة عليه ودفنته .. وقد رثيته بقصيدة ..​

Q2:what is your opinion about Shaqraa'(a place in najd where he originally comes from)
Ss says:thats the home land of my mother,father and forefathers..thats my origin..
Q3:when did you last visit Shaqraa'?
SS says:a couple of years back.
Q4:degrees you got during your education?
SS says:i got a doctorate degree from UQU.
Q5:what books do you recomend for the ones who want to enhance their shar3i 3ilm?
SS says:there are a lot of books that i recommend depending upon the mental level/previous education of the learner
these books vary from a beginner to a (normal)
a beginner should study the basics in every respect like
in tafseer:Tafseer sa3di or Tafseer ibn mubarak
in aqeedah:al usool al thalathah & alqawa3idul arba3ah,kitab al tawheed wal wasitiyyah,and ibn uthaimeen's alqawa3idul mathaliyy..
in nahw:al ajroomiyyah and milhatul i3raab.and albaiqooniyyah wa nukhbatul fikr.
Q6:for how long you are an imam of haram?
SS says:for 15 years
Q7:what are the criteria for an imam of haram?
SS says:must be noble and a hafiz,islamically eligible for this post like iftaa',khitabah and imamah..the approval of the king is also required.
Q7:whats your opinion about explanations of dreams that are published like the downfall of israel and comming of mahdi?
SS says:*could not get the first part properly*dream is a part from prophethood.As the Prophet (SAW) said.someone asked abdul barr:can everyone explain a dream?he said"do you play with prophethood"?
Q8:could you expect that one day you will be leading such a great number of muslims in haram?
SS says:i could expect certain things related to it.and i also used to dream of it!.
Q9:what do you think/your opinion about Al-Majd channel?
SS says:it is a new channel and currently seems better as compared to the other channels i have seen.i ask for them firmness on the path of righteousness*could not get the last sentence properly*(i think theres something against that channel)Allah A3lam
Q10:when you were appointed as imam and khateeb of haram was sheikh Abdullah al khulaify alive?
SS says:yes he lived two years after i was appointed. i prayed his salat al janazah and buried him...and wrote a poem(rithaa'ie marsia)on him.--------------------------------------------------------------------------
