How'd you get to talk to him privately? Aren't there usually crowds of people around him? As you'd assume. I heard this year, 3 million people went during Ramadan masha-Allah.

The crowds follow them up to a certain distance from the Masjid Nabawi, but when you reach the car parking area, they disperse and you can meet them easily inshaAllah. Unless the guards turn you back.

SubhanAllah. To meet these great Imams at such a great area... Must be an amazing feeling.
 
Don't know about the other a'immah...but also like Sh. 'Abdul-Muhsin does classes in the haram; so I guess you could 'meet' them then.
 
Just listened Sheikh Shuraim's duaa. It's my 1st time. And I know why so many people love it. It's too beautiful! MashaAllah! May Allah changes his mind to do duaa again. Ameen!

The best place to meet the Imaams in Madeenah is where they park their cars, Shaykh Hudhaify comes down on his own, without a guard, and with his bisht in his hand. He completly blends in with the crowd, when we met him he had the biggest smile and was like mashaa'Allah mashaa'Allah, hayyakAllah, hayyakAllah, he asked our names, and where we were from, and then his driver came..(He gets picked up in a Toyota Avensis..). Sometimes we use to see him walking outside the Haram with a walking stick, and he often used to have Kitaabs in his hand!

Thanks for that, so he sounded just like Sheikh Subayyil. Hmm ok. I don't know if you've read this whole thread, but his name is Sheikh Abdullah bin Ubaid, he was the previous head of the presidency of haramain and he led coz the Thuhr Imam was very late.

Anyway, Shiekh Khalid Ghamidi led Asr in Makkah today, so look out for him tonight in Maghrib and Isha :p

welcome bck brother abd al bari did u only meet sheikh budayr and hudaify once? also where there alot of people going after the imams? May Allah bless the imams sheikh budayr has a bmv thats awesome but i thought all the imams get picked up most of the time? :hmm:

He was soooooo emotional in Maghrib :( and how not? when he hadn't seen Baitullah for a whole month... and the verses he read: "latadkhulunnal masjidal 7araama in sha Allahu aamineena mu7alliqeena ru2oosakum wa muqassireena la takhafoon" :cry: :cry:

N nope i had no idea sheikh sudais was in dubai for eid. I recently got a phone which does not have arabic so its been very frustating, a lot of brothers send me arabic text messages regarding visits of scholars and lectures n knowledge circles n i cant read them, and probably missed out on sheikh sudais for the same reason.

Akh abd al baari , barak Allahu feek did u meet or see any of the mashaikh the ulamah?

N yes beautiful and emoional maghrib today by sheikh ghamdi, soo good to have him back , the ayat he chose were amazing , no wonder he was so emotional, May Allah bless him , wonder how he would be feeling being back in haram after that long and LEADING!

Wow! MashaAllah! His wive gave a birth during Ramadhaan. How blessed they are! Anyway, is she Sheikh Juhany's first child? Ameen to you duaa!
 
^As far as i know, it's his sixth child (he has 3 boys and 3 girls now), masha Allah. May Allah bless him in his children and make them the coolness of their parents eyes.

sorry for being triple posts anyway :p. but im just wondering how tall is sheikh shuraim? i just examined the video where he stood behind imam, 25th night last taraweeh if im not mistaken, and i found that he is the tallest among them mashaAllah :shade:.
