I thought Makkah will complete Juz 25 today :hmm:

Wow..are you serious? I have not seen Shaykh Shuraym stand in first line during taraweeh, since 2004-2005. Thats rare...cant wait till i watch it.

EDIT: Sheikh Sudais Jumua Salaah reminded me of his recitations when he was a bit younger :cry:

I thought sheikh budair was supposed to lead with sheikh ghamdi yesterday??:hmm:. Inshallah he will be leading tonight with sheikh hudaify in taraweeh and tahhajjud.

nice to see sheikh shuraim standing in the first saff it has been a very long time since he stood there.

I think it will be sheikh hussein ghamdi and qasim for tahhajjud for one night and then sheikh budayr and sheikh huddaify .

They always have had 10 Rakats in Makkah and Madinah for Tahajjud:><:. 8 rakats is usually for taraweeh, and if they read 8 rakats in tahajjud each rakat would be really long since they read one juz atleast. Plus the sujood, ruku is longer, so I think thats why they increased # of Rakats to make it easy on people. Allah knows the best. Maaliki Madhab prays 36 rakats.
 
Oh bother! i just realised that the maximum number of rak'ah for Tahajjud is 12 and not 8!!! (according to Hanafi's anyway) Sorry for all the unnecessary posts :hiding:

Anyway, 25th night. Awesome Isha by Sheikh Saalih and now Sheikh Juhany on Sura Jaathiyah. Shuraim is in the first row again today...

Sura Qaaf in Makkah and Madeenah was sooo beautiful :cry: imsad

i have a feeling shaykh shuraym will do the last dua this year for taraweeh, because Shaykh Sudais will be going to Dubai to do Eid khutbah. Maybe thats the reason he is been praying in first line..:hmm: or i Hope atleast.

Also, i always wanted this to happen, All the makkah imams in first line, including shaykh osamah and Shaykh ghazzawi. it would be soo cool :shade:

I really wish Sheikh Shuraim will do the khatam dua. I didn't know Sheikh Sudais will be delivering Eid khutbah in Dubai... but if there's 30 days, there's more than enough time for Sheikh Sudais to do the khatam dua and travel to Dubai because he doesn't lead Tahajjud on the 29th and 30th nights anyway. Even if there's 29 days he'll still be able to make it... :hmm:

Especially since Dubai is not that far from Suudiyah. Also, I heard that there will be 30 days of Ramadan this year most likely. If that happens, I wonder if they would start from Surat Al Baqara again in taraweeh or pick a random Juz..

last time this happened they continue from what was being prayed in tahajjud
