Wow Juhany must've been in his early 20s in that recording. He's reading in a totally different tone, a little like saad al ghamdi. I like juhany's new tone better though.

Sheikh Shuraim will be in India for next few days for the Peace Conference. Insha'Allah he will lead Jumuah tomorrow as well. Its his first time visiting India.

That was a beautiful recitation by Sheikh Shuraim from surah Ahzaab end.
Some reported... it was due to security reasons that Sheikh Sudais had to cancel the tour(some non muslim extremist groups threatened against it) and Sheikh Shuraim was a last moment replacement :ermm: Allahu A'lam. May Allah swt protect the A'immah.

Just saw the video of sheikh shuraim when in india. it was soo amazing! and his voice was quite different. but, its better. i can hear his "true" voice . very soft.

MashAllah i thought sheikh sudais was gonna go but it was nice to see sheikh shuraim. maybe sheikh shuraim took sheikh sudais's postion mashAllah his very busy came from indonesia then made khutbah in makkah and then now in india mashAllah subhnAllah.

Maybe all this is because he hardly leads any salah in the haram makkah.

I just turned on the saudi sunnah channel and saw sheikh abdur razzaq al abbad al badr , the son of sheikh abdul mohsin al abbad giving a lecture in the masjid al nabawi.

Sheikh abdul muhsin al abbad al badr has also recently started the explanation of al bukhari after finishing sunan ibn majah, really wish i was there, for those who dont know the sheikh is in his 90's maa shaa Allah and one of the most senior scholars and without a doubt the muhaddith of madeenah, so blessed and lucky are those who are in madeenah or live there and can attend the durros of scholars, in the masjid al nabawi n others, like sheikh ubaid al jabiree, sheikh salih al suhaymee , sheikh salman al ruhaylia and muhamad bun hadi al madkhali n others, what a blessed place and may Allah make ways for us to go there, move there and benefit from the scholars
